My wife got me hooked on M&B. She passed away last winter. I laugh at them but at the same time, I cry for all the memories my sweetheart and I shared while listening to the funniest two guys on the radio. We bought a few of their cd's as well

I moved to California in 1987 when Mark and Brian started and I listened to them almost every single morning until they went off the air in 2012. I left California in 2017. Those were great years before the P.C. brigade took over and people could laugh. Miss you guys, hope you read these comments.

Going back to the archives because just having their voices and laughs in my day is who I am! Great post! They are the classic rock of radio! Nothing will ever be better than Mark and Brian!

Time for another reunion. Congratulations to Mark and Brian on their much deserved induction into the Radio Hall of Fame.

I started listening in November of 87 and never stopped. I cried for hours during and after their last show and didn’t listen to KLOS for years after. Listened to Mark in the morning till it ended. If Mark and Brian came back now I would be glued, these guys are so good. Thank you for doing this reunion show, it was like you never left. The Mark and Linda podcast has been my go to since they permanently tossed Frosty from the current morning show on KLOS. He balanced out the show well.

I grew up listening to them every morning. I heard the final show they did and my heart hurt that day. I have missed them very much. They brought so much joy to my mornings. There is no other morning show that even comes close to what they did. Great to hear them together again. Made my day!!! Thanks Mark and Brian for the years of laughs!!!

So GLAD I COULD HEAR U IN N San Diego Co while i was stealing (repoing) people's rides, Oh Well.EVERYTHING U DID KICKED ASS!!!!!!!!!

OMG, I started out with my wife listening to Mark and Brain over the years the m&b show became a big part of my life. Every morning I listened to the show on the way to work. Mark and Brian made my mornings. I listened to Marks family pertispate in the show with his wife, his son and daughter have experiences on the show. while at the same time my kids were growing up along the same time line as Marks kids. I was a dedicated listener to the show. I miss you guys so much, thank you for some of the best memories my family has made. From the Christmas tree lots, to the Drive-in theaters, Halloween Drive-ins, so much. Again, Thank you, we love both you guys, and miss you so so much. You have no idea how much you have touched the lives of some of your listeners lives. A truly thankful listener, from Orange County, Ca. Miss you guys so much.

They’re a beloved part of my 80’s memories from LA. Miss those guys!

Randomly met Marc Bonilla (Amazing guitarist) recently who was on M & B numerous times who keeps in touch with Mark Thompson. He said Mark Thompson is bored. KLOS needs to make M & B a ridiculous offer to come back, at least once a month. Hey KLOS, your ratings will go through the roof if you do this. The fans know this and I'm sure you do. Message to M & B: We need you now more than ever. You 2 flow on the air better than any radio team I have ever listened to. I think we all need each other right now. KLOS, swallow your pride and do what is right. Money comes & goes. Make M & B a ridiculous offer and bring genius back to KLOS.

Mark was the one pushing to retire if I remember correctly. Brian wasnt ready. That being said If Mark is bored I guess its his fault.

Man oh man what a blast from the past! I totally switched a tristate route I ran around just so i could stay tuned into their radio show all morning long. It was good to hear you boys again & the BRASS!

Love these guys so much! Thanks for uploading this. One of my fondest memories was driving home and listening to M&B parking a mountain bike in someone’s butt. The guy was wearing a snorkel and his laugh through the snorkel and M&B’s tears from laughter almost had me drive off the road. I literally had to pull over. I remember all the drunk shows for St Patrick’s day too! Good times!!!

Mark and Brian, Keven and Bean, Loveline and Tom Leykis were a major part of growing up in Los Angeles ❤️❤️

Used to listen to M&B on the now defunct KQBZ-FM(100.7 The Buzz) Seattle. This is like hearing longtime friends. Thanks for posting this. Someone should produce a Mark & Brian biopic, BTW. That would be a fun movie.

I love you guys, you were my cup of coffee in the morning. I laughter so much because of you two. Thank you for the memories.

Since 86/87 i was doin tile roofs in Orange County El toro Ca. had planes doin low fly-bys,entertainment w/M&B & pilots.through to the ended. You guys kept me working & laughing all those years. I could only WISH YOUR RETURN.I partied with you guys in 1990 in Laughlin Nev. Miss ya soooo much

Listened to them at MCAS El Toro back in the day. We deployed on a WestPac cruise and came back. They were off the air. So bummed, but KNAC helped pick up the slack.

I missed M&B so much for 6 1/2 years when this show aired live and I didn't have a radio in the house I had recently moved in to. But this was like Christmas New Years and 4th of July combined for me. I sat and listened in my car for the entire show from 3pm to 7 pm.

Started to listen to M&B in November 1987 when one of my co-workers at Knott's Berry Farm told me about this crazy morning show with these 2 new guys. Listened till the end. Met them at a Fireman's Muster and Chili Cook off in Redlands. I have a signed parachute poster. I remember so many amazing Christmas shows. I listen to Stevie Nicks/Lindsay Buckingham Landslide in real time. Later on when working in law enforcement I would be transporting someone I had arrested to jail and I would have M&B on. I remember laughing along with these in-custody folks. Such great memories. So thankful to have been their fan!!!

I didn’t find these guys until 2010. I listened every morning until they went off air in 2012. I then listened to Mark in the Morning. They were easily the best show I’ve ever listened to. Was so sad when Mark retired.

I listened to them from the start. It was our construction job and at home. They left the air and I left California, I missed them since.

Missed this reunion so glad to find this. Listening early, late 80’s to the end. They sounded like always bouncing off each other. Reliving the Bozo and This Old House show LOL funny. Hootie Hoo

That prank they did on Tom Cruise via "Gene Wilder" was my all time favorite moment. So friggin funny! I have so many tapes of their bits, wish I had time to go re-listen.

I’m from Sacramento, they were on 96.9 The Eagle. Every morning as my dad dropped me off on the way to work at 6:00 am, we listened to M&B. It’s actually the only station my dad listens to. I miss these guys, especially their catchy intro song (just adding their own lyrics to a classic samba song lol) & have been searching for it for years. Radio is such an underrated part of nostalgia, 90s we’re great for it…M&B, Loveline w/ Adam Corolla & Dr Drew, 90.9 was “Smooth Jazz”, 101.1 was all oldies, oh memories.

I remember there last day and it was a sad day.............. miss these guys............ loved Frank............ I have a few CDs somewhere of the Christmas shows............. Elfis was the shit..............

They were so huge in the 90 every radio on a construction site had Mark and Brian on.

Hello I wanted see if Mark or Brian recalls their first trip to Bakersfield. Where my ex husband at the time came to see them, I’m sure they will recall a beard hippy type guy in a wheelchair. Ha Ha funny it wasn’t. He didn’t need that chair. At the time he was in great physically shape. He was acting stupid what his reasoning was beyond me, I was not with him at the time. His son was with him. He also held a sign that spelled Brian’s name wrong- Brain. Anyway that was in the 80’s. If they remember him I just wanted to give them an epilogue of him. We were married in 1974 divorced in 1986 aged a little and in 1994 got together again. Diabetes just drained him of his strength, lost his leg in 2003. Heart attack in 2005 passed in 2008 his name was Curtis Lott and he will be remembered. Thank you for your time and I wish everyone well. Rita Lott. Oh in the 20 years of listening to Mark and Brian I had never called the show or anything so I would not be familiar to them. rl
