(പുറപ്പാട്‌ 40 : 34) പുതിയ നിയമം ദൂതന്‍ മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു: പരിശുദ്‌ധാത്‌മാവ്‌ നിന്‍െറ മേല്‍ വരും; അത്യുന്നതന്‍െറ ശക്‌തി നിന്‍െറ മേല്‍ ആവസിക്കും. ആകയാല്‍, ജനിക്കാന്‍ പോകുന്ന ശിശു പരിശുദ്‌ധന്‍, ദൈവപുത്രന്‍ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടും.
