I wish they remade the Gameboy game. Game was and still is amazing. The puzzles were pretty tricky actually.

I still play it to this day ! I was able to get it when it was on the 3ds store , and i return to it regularly

This was my second favorite game on the GBA, second only to Double Dragon Advance. Cool to see it redone, though a straight out sequel wouldve been more enticing.

Thank you for the review - I've largely ignored this series since its inception but I'm intrigued by this entry.

I could sense that if this games name werent Mario it could have got 6 or lower.

Loved the GBA version

7/10 still a great game

Glad It got a decent rating, now pray that they don't remastered the disastrous sequels or at least take a whole new different direction if that's the case!

gaining lives in Mario always been a whatever thing. I think it only made sense in snes era. You gain lives cause that 99 marker always has a clean look to it.

Donkey Kong sure looks odd these days; what an odd eye structure. As an animation designer, I keep thinking back to when I was a child and the whole Donkey Kong/Jumpman thing had first gotten started, and he was cartoonish; it looks like somewhere along the way they decided to take on an abstract approach. Odd.

7:05 However if you're at your last life, one player dying means you both die. That's kind of annoying, good game otherwise though

Just get the gameboy advance one or play that rom and save money.
