When Pauline scores a goal, She says “Oh Yeah!” and dances to the music on the field or she actually says “That’s right!”, “Yeah!” and “Not too shaggy!” Pauline also sings “High up in the sky!” into the microphone. When she loses the game, She says “Drats! I’ll get you next time.”

Only Daisy and Waluigi demonstrated excellent soccer ball technique/control/style/talent/skill. Everyone else kicks/hits the soccer ball very hard. Bowser does a dodgeball throw, DK does a volleyball spike, and Pauline does the lacrosse swing with the mic stand. No wonder Daisy was omitted from the original game roster…that level of animation needed more time to render by the developer for a DLC update…still no excuse to release an unfinished game for full price.

Waluigi as usual the GOAT

I'm really glad that the characters still show their personalities at their absolute best. The animation being very expressive helps a lot. Also, a lot of voice clips may be recycled, but credit where it's due, at least they made the lips move in sync with those lines.

Do you play Mario Strikers: Battle League & if so is Rosalina your Main?

Rosalina and Shy Guy's loss animations are both somewhat menacing, I gotta say. She looks likes she was a second away from a cosmic storm before cooling off, and he looks like he's planning to tell Yoshi "You're cool, don't come to practice tomorrow".

Yoshi’s crying is so adorable when it loses.🥰

Love the fact that Wario and Waluigi have that bit of strikers charged in them still

Well you will say it’s terrible but the character roster is just like Mario Strikers Charged, with Daisy, Bowser Jr and Diddy Kong back and the new ones like Rosalina, Shy Guy, Pauline and Birdo. No one would say that this game is terrible unless it has a perfect and lineup roster.

@@benelcombe6498 here’s the reason why Charged and even the first game could get away with a small roster: sidekicks. Guess what’s missing in Battle League: sidekicks.

The funniest thing to me is that everyone casually breaks the rules and or laws of reality except Daisy and Waluigi. Their big special moves are just them showing off.

these animations r absolutely excellent, as expected from next level, but they lack the sass super mario strikers & mario strikers charged had. these have a lot of personality but i think what made the animations in those games great was how much further next level went w/ showing personality with the cast. peach being a drama queen, bowser basically being the heel, jr trying to b cool but just looking kinda goofy (which this game does kinda do but its a little lame), wario being completely obnoxious to everyone around him... it feels like how theyd act in a sports setting if they were allowed to get more competitive instead of just their regular personalities ported over

This game has some good animation though. At least, I think it does.

All these characters who had been team captain before (Mario, Luigi, Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong, Bowser Jr, Bowser, Yoshi, Daisy, Peach, Wario and Waluigi) had the exact same number as in prior Strikers games, and most of the new ones (Shy Guy, Pauline, Rosalina and Toad) use a unique number that had not been used in prior games by anyone else. Birdo is the only exception. For some reason, she uses the same number that Petey Piranha already used in Charged.
