In this Wii U Version, the medal ceremony takes place in the exact event where the characters compete. In the 3DS, the medal ceremony takes place in the same opening stadium after completing from the event.

Cool! I was worried that they would scrap the animations in the Wii U version. Thankfully that's not the case.

I finally did it. I unlocked the characters' victory animations. You need to go through all 3 levels of difficulty for each event in Tournament Mode.

i like how they try to finally explain how rosaline can float. it appears as soon as she twirls once, it causes her to float. what i don't like is her voice. it's becoming more and more girly and peach-esque. It's odd how Rosaline started off unique and is gradually becoming more and more like peach, while Daisy started off like peach, and gradually became more and more unique. The two are opposites, which is odd.

what i was saying is how i like how they are now RETROGRADIVELY EXPLAINING how rosaline goes from standing to floating. And by retrograde i mean like how super mario maker implemented styles for what objects would have looked like back then if they were around back then. the newer games like this are now saying, rosaline goes from standing to floating via a blue twirl.

Look closer. She floats before twirling there. Outside of the event, she always floats. In Galaxy 1, she just jumps and floats. Except this game, they're no game when she visibly walks to then float.

clear all level 3 tournaments then you can play as characters to see victory poses

They should of made Princess Peach celebration better this like when she blows a kiss when did a trick in Mario Kart 8

I like this game, but I will say this for the record. It makes no sense that victory animations are restricted to tournaments. These victory scenes look fantastic, and it is a shame we can only watch them in tournaments instead of Single Matches as well. Imagine if Super Smash Bros. only let you watch it's victory scenes in Tourney mode. That would suck. Let's hope the next Olympic Games does not have that restriction of victory poses.
