Wanna know the best thing about the Paul thing? Me and everyone else who didn't watch Simple reveal this live, but saw it months ago on Everyday Simpleflips, DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS JUST A PHOTO BEFORE THE FINAL DAY, OR ABOUT THE GREEN SCREEN. I was fully convinced Mark had just sat there for the entire competition whenever Foxen was live. I feel so infuriated that Simple keeps fooling me like this, and I wouldn't have it any other way

I think that the everyday simpleflips clip NOT explaining the second reveal of the bit, that it was a greenscreened video of mark behind foxen the whole time makes the joke even better.

Rewatching the first 4 minutes of the video after learning about Paul is like rewatching a whodunnit type film and knowing who the killer is, it all just clicks

I've known about Paul for quite a while because Everyday SimpleFlips uploaded the clip right after the original stream. Mark and Foxen are absolute legends for pulling that off, by the way.

Shoutouts to Paul for not moving a single inch for a week watching his friend intently play mario maker, he never left his friends side until it was over. What a chad.

I feel like all of these first timers stick out almost more than the people who’ve made dozens. Simple should 100% do a first timer hack and they can do anything as long as it’s their first hack. It would show so much creativity that we don’t normally see I think. Thoughts?

Maybe some people wouldn’t wanna join a normal comp because they don’t wanna submit a hack that seems worse cuz it’s their first when compared to someone who’s been making them for years

The Metal Mario music being replaced with the words “big chungus” is almost as underrated as Paul.
