i liked how her soul had a refrence to fawful. It shows she at least cares for her best minion, even though it wasn't necessarily the other way

I don't like that bit about Fawful planning to betray her initially, especially since Fawful helped her when she lost her body and needed it the most... He could've left her to her own devices, or even keep her trapped, and take advantage of the situation by himself because he was 100% capable enough to do so.

A real Classic

I was like "Oh wow, they breezed through that Bowletta fight, so I guess they're pretty overleveled, and will breeze through Cacklettas soul too" but I forgot just how beefy the final boss of this game is, holy crap. Even with multiple 100+ damage attacks directly at the heart she was unfazed.

I just fought her for a good 20 or more minutes cause of his tanky she is plus the bombardment of attacks

I just notice that she flicks the middle finger before she does the fire attack...

i have vivid memories of waking up my aunt because i cried trying to beat her

I like that the music stops during the laser eye attack. That doesn't happen in the remake and that's honestly unfortunate.

Did you know? In the 3DS version, Cackletta was censored so she no longer “Flips you off.” I guess Superstar Saga will soon be joining The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time on “Censored games of Nintendo”.

To the 9 year old me... you are a fucking legend for beating this battle more than once... I just finished the nintendo switch online version and I repeated this battle more than 10 times it's disgusting.

Cackletta literally gives them the finger, symbolizing her ultimate hatred for the Mario Bros who had crushed her plans and KILLED HER halfway through the game!

4:59 gets me.

Now i know why it took so long, without noticing the color i accidentally healed for over 2 hours because i never paid attention to the color of the number lmao

I can't get over the fact that she's constantly giving you the finger...

0:23 gives me goosebumps every single time

This is the shit that gave me nightmares

The damage in this game is so weird. Back then cackletta only needed about 100 damage to destroy her arms, the remake took 400 damage

Looking back, its crazy how unfair the final battle is. Cackletta gets like 4 turns in a row, moat of her moves hit both brothers and last way too long, akd theyre hard to dodge

mario and luigi go to hell: the game

Then took the next 9 minutes trying to beat her soul XD

The weird part is that your mission is actually to free Bowser from Cackletta's soul which is possessing him. (Seriously, THAT's what Bowser's tummy looks like inside?!!)

Let me be honest, the background when fighting Cackletta's Soul looks like someone took over the world. And the boss looks so hard it's like the game is saying, "There's no hope kid. Turn back. Get out while you still can."

Has someone thought how Bowletta feels outside?

Has no one noticed how well the music went in the beginning when Mario destroyed that energy ball thing?

This is the second being Mario and luigi have permanently truly killed. The first was smithy...smithy and cackletta deserved it they were psychotic and sociopathic. But for some reason seeing Fawful die makes me sad... Is can't figure out why... He just seemed like he was not truly evil or like he was just mentally unstable. It pained me somewhat.

Like if you were pissed when you found out bowletta was not the last boss then you died as soon as you got to cackletta's soul.

Interesting how Cackletta's Soul attacks using every part of her body in a single turn

I know how to dogde the arm swing! Watch her eyes. If they are down, jump, her arm is going down. But if the are up, don't jump, her arms is up. Hope it did helped! :)

This music sounds like your fighting at an amusement park ride that's broken.

I miss this era of Mario rpgs. Back when paper mario was a turn based rpg you had the adventure with Mario and his friends then you had this series which was Mario and his brother. We had this and partners in time and the first 2 paper mario games coexisting before paper mario changed its core gameplay and only this series would keep going for 3 more games. If Mario and Luigi is going to be dead and paper mario isn’t going to be an rpg then I think a new rpg Mario series is needed these games were amazing.

@enddorb Yeah, I know what mean. You get a "Great!" after you successfully hit your opponent with the attack.

Love this fight except for how the soul fight starts with yiu at 1 hp and the starting attack of the soul is random. I've had to restart the whole fight several times due to my ability to dodge being 50:50.

If you let the mouth ball get close enough, you can hit it twice at once when you swing your hammer into it.

How did you get such high stats??? That stache speed and power are crazy

If you use Chopper or any bors attack mario and luigi will learn Advance

dude you do know you can use fire hand solo on the left cuz she uses lightning and use lightning solo hand on the right cuz that uses fire
