I Love this it brings back irreplaceable memories- I ran with my son pre-boot camp around our neighborhood as he trained - we would play Marine Corp Cadences...He earned the title and is now already a USMC Veteran what an awesome journey...Enjoy...stay strong💪...Proud USMC Mom.

I run on the treadmill at the gym to this! It’s hard not to do the call backs out loud!

I never served however I come from a military family. Both grandfathers who are no longer with us one was Navy and the other Army a great uncle Marine and one great aunt Airforce. I was an Army Civilian for 4 years at Eisenhower Army Medical Center as a Nurse Aid and Phlebotomist. And worked for AAFES for 3 years. I prefer listening to cadences vs any music.

I saw a mistake in the typed lyrics it says jumped from the rock in the middle of the night, I believe that should be jumped from the rack, i.e. bunk, in the middle of the night just saying it's the MARINES, you gotta get it right!

I am very proud to of have served with Bravo Company 1/5 2nd Plt. 0311 From 12/25/79 -1983 The Marine Corp's made the biggest impact of my life too this day. Still living it and representing to this day. Once a Marine always a Marine !!!! You can take a Marine out of the Corp's But you can't take the Corp's out of a Marine ..
