When you're an infantry fighing in the battlefield, Hot chow is always appriciated in a great way no matter what it is

I've seen it happening for thirty some years. Was training ex chef for logcap 1 and 2. It's not just Marines, it's all branch's of the Military!!. Them kids ( not insulting anyone), their just starting out, and it's meant with only the upmost respect. I will always consider it an honest and a privilege to feed those bottomless consumer's of vast quantity of food. LOL!!!! Apollo HD It’s weird 99.99 percent of the commenters don’t seem to realize this. Real military would have busted out a fork or knife and not just used their hands but the re-enactments always have to make everyone who wears a uniform to be a savage.

@Pratik Rawal let me tell you a little info since you are too ignorant to know about other cultures. Asian food are considered to be the top 3 food in the world. Western chefs and restaurants are starting to mix and copy some of the Asian food style to caters their customers better. It's obvious you have never eaten Asian food before.

That is how a Marine eats when they are in the field, and don't have access to a chow hall to eat in. You have to learn to survive on your food you have handy, or eat MRE's which isn't that good unless you are really hungry. I was in the Air Force, and had to work on several Marine bases, and we never ate out of a chow hall, except for the flightline kitchen at El Toro MCAS (which closed later).

Only thing missing from that meal is a 64 count box of crayons.

That would have made great fajitas but you should really cook the meat before the veggies or they get mushy :)
