Many families mourn their sons who died in combat in Afghanistan, the military should defend the country and not invade other countries, bringing sadness to many homes.

These soldiers need to come back! So sad for these parents to go through this. I as a Afghan American had a culture shock when I went to work for the military, so I can’t even imagine what this young man was going through. Rip 🤲🏽

Five years on, and they're still deployed. And for what? To change what? I wish the powers would listen to this marine's dad and friend, and bring them all home. This kid is a hero, and joins far too many heroes we've buried for over a decade. RIP...

Tell the family of this beautiful, handsome soldier I am so severely sorry for their loss such a beautiful, handsome man taking into the ground I am so sorry. Give all the family and the soldier in his friends my deepest sympathies of all time, and this is gonna be such a waste to see beautiful, handsome men driven into the ground like thismakes me sick to my stomach for all time as I turned 64 soon and being a half disabled person and feisty little one like myself, my hearts in my prayers, go with the family of the soldier and his friends of all time, and I hope the father is strong and better, and keeps on living as he lost a handsome beautiful son of all time

i stand with this family. this mans words echo what so many father are feeling. we are all tired of how this establishment is treating its citizens and its soldiers. we need to make a consolidated stand against those who are holding power and abusing it. your son is worth more to me, then all of the politicians in the world. not one of them, not a single one is worth one drop of blood that has been shed to defend them.

Participating in unjust and illegal wars that result in the deaths of untold numbers of innocents will inevitably produce results like this. To characterize someone who participates in such endeavors as a "hero" is the height of hubris.
