I was nearly 13 when she died. I remember it almost as clearly as JFK'S assassination, my parents were bigger fans of Marilyn than JFK (my mother was a closeted Democrat), my dad an Eisenhower republican

Ive never seen any of these pics before. It just shows that there must be literally billions of pics of Marilyn taken every day of her adult life. (and celebrities today complain about the paparazzi!!), Marilyn took it all in good spirit.

LadyV Ventura She would be very hard work to live with. As an abused person she wouldn't be able to fully love another person but would be very demanding. She didn't like sex but put up with it & 'acted' it. She was very self-centered because of her background & inconsiderate of others feelings. Most of her life was an act as she didn't really have a personality. If you lived with her she. would drive you mad.

That's the real woman who "PLAYED" Marilyn. What a bright light she was. What a great smile without make up too. High cheekbones. A smart woman who was caught up in the necessities of survival. She was a light, not ready, never taught by loving parents about the evils of this earth. (Especially wolves like the Kennedy's.)

My belief is that as a little girl, dropped off at a movie theatre instead of daycare, (which was seriously lacking back then) all day on a sat, Marilyn, Norma Jean has said in some interviews shed play the parts in a movie. Her playmates too, said she had a wonderful spirit of make believe and imagination¹1 She perfected her role as Marilyn because that's who the public wanted. And the men she loved. Except for Joe. and her first husband. I believe a lot of her inner turmoil, or soul searching, was the conflicting personality. Maybe because my grandparents knew her, I'm 65 now and as a child, I loved listening to the experiences of my grandparents.1
