Marijuana: Doorway to the Demonic? A New Perspective to an Ongoing Debate.

Aired live Sept. 21, 2020 | Breakfast With Bacon
What we allow to inhabit our bodies, minds and spirits grows or festers to shape or misshape us over time. Jesse Romero, radio host, Catholic evangelist and author of more than nine books, discusses his book "What is Wrong with Marijuana?" pointing to the drug's use as a doorway to the demonic and lending a new perspective to an ongoing debate. As always, Romero is highly engaging, inspirational as well as informative and intellectual in explaining the truths behind this controversial drug. You'll be glad you watched!

Dear Jessie and Dr. Bacon this presentation has given me more reasoning ammunition against drugs and improper use of alchohol. I live in Oregon and people who would not normally take marijuana are making it a habit. Very enjoyable chat thankyou ! ( Marijuana is legal here )

Wow. People say alcohol is worse than marijuana, but marijuana if you have a toke on a Saturday then you can still feel it Sunday and possibly even Monday…. That’s moderate, social use on a Saturday evening. Now alcohol, you can have a glass or two of wine and when it wears off you’re done… the next day maybe the worst is a hangover but usually nothing. What do people think? Also, I feel that if one were to smoke weed on a weekend basis, it would alter one’s mind long term without a doubt. This is just from 4x a month… Alcohol you can have 4x a month and be ok.

Regarding Pain : A burn victim needs narcotics AND induced coma otherwise pain causes neurogenic shock which kills. I intractable pain strong narcotics usually reduces pain to tolerable level, anti emetics to treat nausea causes the sleepiness. Sometimes the pain OF WATCHING THE LOVED ONE DIE IS THE CROSS.

Today was a perfect day to watch this since in Oklahoma we are voting today on legalizing marijuana today . And like you Dr. Bacon I was thinking of all the people they put in prison for it.

Great talk. I know of someone who used to smoke marijuana regularly, daily actually, then say he would spend his days reading the Bible. He said it made him understand it better and that he is better for it. He's also been working in a sort of church (not Catholic) for some years now. I've always had my guard up about him for various reasons. He once greeted me with a big smile and asked me how my grandfather was doing, and I was totally bewildered, then the subject completely changed after that, don't think he waited for a response. Strange thing was that I had a grandfather who I was not close to at all as he distanced himself from the family (long story), and so I rarely if ever talked about him least of all to this guy. And that same morning my mother had given me news that he had fallen ill and was hospitalised, information I had not shared with anyone. Is that an indication of possession? Could the marijuana have opened doors to the demonic in his life? He used to make it sound convincing, that he is growing closer to God and the drug is only a tool.

Or it opened him up to the heavenly realm (which we aren't really supposed to do either) and interacted with the spiritual life that we don't normally see. If God knows the beginning from the end, it would be divine timing for both of you.

This "blonde lady" has a PhD, a soul and is defined by more than her hair color. My transparency is a blessing to anyone who has ever had to open-mindedly consider any perspective from both sides before making a decision. I pray you do the same. God bless you.

It's sad that you have such an ugly view of every single person in a single profession. You are absolutely wrong. There are good people in this profession. That's as bad as me judging you just because you have a single skin color. Are you bad because you're the skin color that you are? You need to search your soul and ask the Lord to forgive you for judging people. You are wrong.Jesse Romero is an amazing human being. I'm sorry for whoever hurt you and made you so cynical.
