Thanks for posting this! Its official...Marianas Trench is now my fave band. Wish more people my age liked 'em. This song, "While We're Young", "Wildfire", "Pop 101" - new album is gonna be sick (yes, I liked "Pop 101", thank you very much). Def partial to any song about zeros, losers, misfits, etc lol My peeps :-) Own who you are...Self Deprecation 101 (its a lost art, kids). Just wish we had an album release date. Thought "Pop 101" was gonna be the pre/advanced release single all bands do these days and the album (already completed) would follow a few months later, but I guess not. Oh well. And how sick is Josh's voice? Kills it every time - studio or live.

It was just a slow climb for them to become my favorite...but they finally got there lol But yeah, I know all about their poppier side AND rock side...they do it all so well IMO that I don't care which style they do...good music is good music :-)

Cody Smith Yeah, I like the sound they have now, sucker for (good) pop music, but I also miss punkier songs like "Shake Tramp". The perfect album by them would combine all their "eras". Though most of their albums are already close to perfect IMO.

Is anyone else worried Josh's harsh singing is taking its toll on his vocal health? Don't get my wrong, he still sounds great, but he is getting to be 30 and some of this sounded a lil rough. Maybe he's just sick in this or it was an off day but it makes me slightly worried :/

djcreeps121 He gave up smoking though.. his lungs would be in better condition then they were in 2008 when the Masterpiece Theater album came out. I mean, yeah, they'd still be affected but he'd be in better condition. Anyways, something tells me he was just tired or something.

i hope not :( his vocals were already damaged for a long time as well.. but this is a song with a lot of pitch jumps, so it's pretty hard, and im pretty sure this is around his range where he has to go from chest to head voice a lot without belting, assuming he didnt want to be too loud.
