Damn, this is the weekend I met her after winning a contest through the French fan club. I'll always remember that call at 11pm "you know Mariah will be in Paris in Saturday, right?... Yes. You know she'll be at Star Academy, right?........ Yeeeeees..... How about meeting up with her at Parisian club VIP Room on Saturday?.... Yeah right!!" Haha I remember being 19 and broke, still I booked a train ticket to Paris, I won't talk about the fact that someone jumped under my train and I thought I'd never reach Paris on time. Anyway, amazing experience, she was really cool, I had a great time, this is when I truly understood how funny and self-deprecating she really is. Oh the nostalgia!

@Queenbee sorry I'm late :D yeah one picture along with guys from the French fan club. Thankfully I stood next to her. Actually I asked her if that was OK if I was next to her for the picture. She told me something along the lines of "daaaahling, if course it is" and grabbed my hip to drag me next to her. It was surreal to be honest, I only remember like 10% of the whole thing.

No one has their phone out, no one is tweeting. Everything was soo simple before social media, smartphones . And the girl said she lived in cincinnati, Ohio. That’s my hometown

I love how she is treating her translator 😂

She seems very down to earth and so humble despite her huge talent and career ❤️ They were very lucky to spend private moments like that :) I'm glad for Aurelie because it was her biggest dream to meet her 😉

La preuve.. pendant une heure.. elle a été souriante, professionnelle et constamment dans l’empathie. Elle pose des vraies questions pertinentes sur leurs vies à chacun et leurs expériences avec la célébrité et le fait de chanter et d’évoluer dans ce milieu. Et elle n’avait que 12 ans de carrière derrière elle a l’époque avec déjà 150 millions de disque vendus. Chaque chanteur amateur devrait voir cette vidéo car on ne peut qu’envier ces candidats à la recherche d’une carrière aussi solide que celle de Mariah Carey. Merci pour la vidéo !!!

Wow, such a gem, I gotta say the ppl who organized this, were very bad at organizing it 😂 Like hello, no snacks prepared, no water, no nothing? Mariah handled it well and professionelle, and it was amazing to listen to her for such a a long period of time..

She walked in and no one spoke to her.. No one speaks English but 2 people and she’s in a random house with bright colors. It’s not really her fault. And she has to listen to her own track with random people who seem like they don’t know who she is and look/ act like high school drop outs. She’s the only one making an effort to get to know the people
