i love that so much about her... im not able to come up with melodies on the spot lol.

I am so in love with the falsetto she did at 5:41. it sounds so good and controlled.

her tone at 5:22 was so smooth and clear and pretty. she needs to do some jazz

She had the most soft angelic chest voice ever. I wish she sang in her chest voice more in her later albums .

The 3 main divas from the 90s (Whitney, Mariah, and Celine) all sang during interviews because they were show-offs, which isn't a bad thing. I think it's cool because they are proud of their abilities and are actually able to sing live. No one does this nowadays.

If I could do what she does, I'd never stop singing! I already sing everyday all day all the time, and I suck lol imagine if I was actually good. I'd never shut up! It feels awesome to sing, whether you can or not. To have her ability to sing anything she wants and people enjoy hearing listening to it, I won't complain a bit if she never talked and sang everything! Ya feel? :)

razrv3lc , Plus they probably couldn't get away from singing in interviews. When you are as good at singing as they are, interviewers and other people always try to get them to sing. I remember watching the Oprah interview with Michael Jackson, she asked him to dance before the interview was over.

Her young friend Maureen was right when they were walking down the street as kids, when Mariah sings it's like there is music behind her.

Mariah is completely a music herself! You know what i mean?? She can actually create a song on the spot hearing a little of note on a piano, in a guitar or whatsoever kind of musical instruments. She can really sang acapella and doin' freestyle on the spot.. it makes her stand out among other artists out there!

Her voice is so sweet & magical

That would be AWESOME. I can see her singing those lush low notes accompanied by a sexy saxophone. Come to think of it, has she EVER sung accompanied by a saxophone? Ive always thought she kinda DOES sound like one, so maybe singing with one would clash with her voice? Just saw 4:43; 😅 apparently, jazz isnt her thing, but she sounds awesome hating on it, OMG to be honest, she sounds FANTASTIC accompanied by some good old jazz. For some reason, she made me think of Crystal Waters singing 100% Pure Love when she walked away. 5:05 LOL, a cheeky performance, ruined by the fake as hell smile of that Sofie Fatale wannabe standing next to her, ugh 🙄

She has this really breathy mode of singing that she likes to use sometimes. She said in an interview she said it's a more intimate voice because her normal voice is very powerful but she prefers this whispery voice when she wants to be intimate and personable. But Just listen to her belts, they are very very very fully powerful.
