The rehearsal was definitely better than the show… think it really showed in her voice how nervous she was for her first major live performance since the pandemic

shes using less staccato now it sounds more fluid

tbh it was live and the one on the official performance she sounded alot bigger. But the vibrato part was the one that was lipped. The C5 part could be lipped too but the sustained part definitely not. And notes could sound almost identical and its just only 1 day difference.

Mariah is in a tricky situation, her live performances are really hit or miss and mostly miss. Even her prerecorded vocals aren’t that great, maybe she should just do shows for her fans only

At this point I agree. If she can’t kill it live it only hurts her legacy a bit. She’s gonna have to remove the nodules or stop. I love that she tries, but it just ends up making herself feel worse in the end

its her forst love performance on years dahhling. 2.5 years is the longest time she hasn’t performed if we get more performances she would be alot more confident and her vocal muscles would be alot stronger. I donk think she needs to stop but i agree she could remove her nodules. But we just have to wait. I dont wanna judge anything from the start. tbh this is one of her best vocals she even done compared to her other first live performance of an era. Specially after 2.5 years.

@@DaydreamCarey1234 it really isn’t the show was horrible. She sounds good at home messing around, but wearing the corset kills it and there are a ton of things to take for stage fright too. If she doesn’t get them removed they at least need lasered down a bit. She didn’t have to do this if she wasn’t ready. Maybe it paid a ton who knows
