I've just come from watching some live shows back in 2018, and yeah there is something wrong with Mariah 100%. Even last year she had more energy (even though she was out of breath from the stupid corsets) I think its the ozempic, this woman lost so much weight in a short amount of time, and that drug has so many side effects. I'm just hoping that when her kids fully join her on stage her mood improves, she always lights up when talkijg about her kids or when being around them. I really hope next year treats her better, and she has better shows. I'm already writing off this christmas tour, but I plan on seeing her next year (if its the last thing I do) so I hope she gets better. I can't wait for the twins to get older and be more involved, Mariah would love fully performing with her kiddos.

The “introduce my back up singers” part was actually heavenly. Why doesn’t she just sing in lower voice, take her songs down a couple keys and perform more tamed and chill versions but with her actual, not strained voice. She sounds so good in her lower register

I know right. It would make so much sense at this point. We dont really care about the super high belts anymore lol shes not 20 anymore her voice is special. We just wanna see her do good and see her actually enjoy singing her own songs cause right now it just sometimes looks painful.

I don’t understand why she even starts lipping the extra vocal parts😢 Also, she was acting like she was forced, made me wonder if there was something happened before the show…

damn i cant tell anymore if she is singing shes lipping mostly everything now like 95% of the songs even the falsetto parts 😭😭😭 its just so sad to see no attempts anymore

fr the entire show i'm so confused about what's live and what isn't, i think her bleak expression and lack of movement dosen't help though, usually u can tell by the way she moves around

It’s honestly really sad, because the lambs were looking forward to this year’s tour, but it looks like she’s going to lip sync through the entire show. Her voice seems like in a good condition too, so let’s just hope she’d attempt more in the upcoming performances

And the weird part is, where she is actually singing live her voice sounds so damn good and smooth compared to last year. Then last year she had so much energy but this year it looks like she's going through sum' cause her energy is so low etc... could be the bipolar vibes. But its the first night i hope she gets better again soon

People complaining she’s lip syncing but this is what the public did to her. 1998 (Brisbane especially!) her voice was in very bad way and she still went for every note. If her voice was that way now / is sort of that way, and she tried that much she’d be fuckin slated. Personally I’d rather see her lip and be confident, then see her get shredded by people and the media.

she looks so sad/emotionless and she’s so stiff like in 2017 like she doesn’t wanna be there and she’s being forced to do it

First was emotions intro. Now is joy to the world intro. We were there for her lipsync the dificult part of every song. But now she lips everything, even when her voice is “there”. She lips the parts that was there just for the lambs, showing some live vocals to prove she still can do, but want to preserve herself. Now she do nothing. She may be felling really bad or very insecure about her voice since last year. Hope she gets better.

Does anyone else find this show strange for a Mariah usual Christmas show. Even the venue notice no kids on stage or her kids. It feels like this was just for an appearance or like asked to do a show at that place. But hopefully the rest of the shows feel like her typical Christmas shows and her spirits get lifted.

this was her first date at a small venue at a casino. im pretty sure its like 2k capacity. all her other shows probably will have more decor and budget as they’re all 10k+

Overall her late 2023 voice reminds me of the Angels advocates tour. (i said "late 2023" because wt the beginning of this year she sounded way different)

Did she ever sang live? Like 90% of the concert was pre-recorded.

6:35 oops... I guess I'll stick to watching Beacon Theater 2014 for the rest of my days. She doesn't sing anymore, she doesn't move on stage at all, she doesn't have any energy whatsoever... I hope she's ok but it's really painful to watch.

Wow @ her not doing the intro to JTWL. That was one we could count on her doing the intro fully live and 90% of the actual song. I hope shes ok..This is kind of concerning.

Be real, most people aren't paying to hear Mariah belt, they are going to see a Mariah Carey concert because she is one of the remaining music legends. She has proven her music ability years ago, we got many beautiful performances from her, now we fans go to support her until she feels she can tour no more. It's the first show, when her kids can join her on stage I'm sure it will be much better. They have been rehearsing more than her (according to her) and Mariah will make sure they don't have upsetting performances.
