Thedaniel YT One Excellent performance does not make her the best vocalist of all time. I loved this since 1994 and hands down a flawless performance. Her voice was top notch here. But The best vocalist of all time was Whitney in her prime every time she sang her performances where flawless. I can't say the same for Mariah. Let's face it Mariah is a studio artist. Whitney is a live preforming artist who hated being in the studio. Much love to both of them for their contribution to popular music.

And Maria says she feels much better in the studio as she had stage fright when she first started singing Whitney Houston was singing live in front of audiences and she was 14 years she is better performer hands-down. You seriously need to listen to Mariah when she first came out and then listening to Whitney Houston came out it's like night and day. No one's voice is superior to anybody's they're both different. And I am 44 years old I have followed both of their careers I am a major fan if both woman. Go on KZread and watch the first American music award performance from Whitney Houston ( how will I know)and then watch Mariah Carey's first performance of ( someday you'll see what I'm talking about.

They're the two greatest but Mariah's voice was more complete, she did things (with her voice) that Whitney never could do, and, in other words, Mariah could easily sing Whitney's hardest song but Whitney could never sing Mariah's hardest song. Both are legends, both remains as the greatest vocalist.
