She always sings live with a backing track. She has been killing it sounding amazing for 33 years now. She deserves all the respect and credit she gets.

You can hear her voice peak out at certain points. It’s only now and again when she’s making her lipping face. Hark was literally fully live except for that highest “wiiiiith angelic hosts proclaim” and the last “haaaaaark the Harold angels sing”. Everything else was her singing on the backing track. One thing on this tour I’ve observed is she’s not doing any airy vocals and her chest voice is very solid, clean, and she’s not chopping her runs up. In turn she’s also not going off key because of how relaxed her voice is right now so when she songs on the tracks you cannot tell unless you listen really close

Everyone has a backing track, only Americans blame people for not singing live or even for singing live OVER audio. Even I, who play traditional Irish fiddle, will use some sort of album cut or track for bigger effect. Like, if I’m playing solo, people likely wouldn’t care, but I don’t exactly want to perform just solo acapella acoustic fiddle. Likewise what singer is just going to sing live with nothing else? The track, the singers in the background, the band all adds to the show. I’d rather have a good show than see my idols struggle-bussing it.

Nobody but Mariah can get a glam touch-up in front of her live audience...lol. Diva at her best. Love her.

Do you think she would get anywhere if she wasn't her daughter? She's a Nepo Baby! Hallie Bailey wouldn't be in 2 movies without her either. It wouldn't surprise me if she's her daughter too.

I live in Europe, but I will definitely travel next year to watch her perform live in USA. It has always been my dream to watch her perform since I was a little girl. She has inspired me in so many ways. I already said to myself I am going to fulfil that dream no matter what!

Yep, don't take these amazing artists for granted! I missed MJ, Prince, Whitney, Aretha, Tina Turner, and Luther! Many came to near city Dallas, TX. But thought had time! Many regrets!!🤦🏽‍♀️😢 Gotta see Mariah, El DeBarge, Patti LaBelle, and Janet Jackson for sure!!

I saw Tina Turner live in Miami, wow 🤩, she was on fire 🔥 in her last tour. I also missed MJ, Luther Vandross, & Bebe King 🎸 ❤ 🙏, I agree ☝️ we gotta see her live.

You can tell her children enjoy entertaining and making music 🎶 fearless, If they continue they're gonna be something special. Monroe has a cool tone to her voice.

I was there and her voice sounds even better and more bright/higher pitched in person. Even her speaking voice.

How can anyone not love her? She is just so lovable!! 🥰😇

It was amazing seeing the twins perform Mariah and her kids were amazing

She sounds really good. Her tone is Mariah'ing. I don't expect the Mariah from when she first came out. Its okay for a voice to age but she still got "it". I don't even mind if she doesn't do high notes anymore but she still does.

At least she has talent, unlike other kids who are pushed by their parents to perform when they clearly have no talent.

It is great to see Mariah and her children ❤️ 💕 😍 💗 enjoy themselves while touring. She has done a great job raising good, talented kids.

I'm glad she gained her confidence back!!!! She always sounded amazing, but became unsure of herself for a while, and the lack of confidence and nervousness was interfering with her sound. Not sure why it happened in the first place, but I'm glad she has worked through it!!!! May God bless her and her family!!!!!

I hope her voice keeps well through the menopause, this could havebeen a cause of her being unsure of herself... To use her voice to the extent that Mariah did and still sounding great is unbeliveable, but hormonal changes is a different beast.

Part of the “Christmas experience” was taking the grandchildren to see Mariah’s Hollywood Bowl show. Totally worth it. Third Mariah Carey concert for myself. A fantastic talented singer, always!! A great evening, concession stands reasonable. Ticket Master changed my seats, however, I wasn’t able to contact them before showtime. Always liked concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, and this was a wonderful first time concert musical night for the young ones 10-14!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
