Agreed, she actually cared to give contestants detailed professional advice, she definitely knows what she's doing.

I love her wide range of vocabulary and articulation. It's not overt and gaudy at all. She did it so beautifully.

Entertaining how Nicki and Mariah are throwing shade to each other, Yet how i love how Nicki listen like a student whenever Mariah give a Critique

I love the fact that Mariah has always defended songwriters, her being the iconic songwriter that she is. And her critics have been flaw-free in this competition, and that alone made this season EPIC! Nicki tried. 🤣 #Lamb4Life 💟

It's crazy when you realize that Mariah and Randy go waaaay back to the early years of her career. There was even a special that was produced in the early 90s that had a lot of great candid moments of Mariah, and Randy was there eating at a cookout/gathering she'd thrown. If you haven't seen it and you're willing to dig through KZread, it's worth the watch for a true fan/lamb. If you find the one that has Mariah driving a Jeep Wrangler with a few of her friends, I believe in Long Island, that would be part of the special I'm talking about. I think it's the one with footage of Patricia and herself speaking while sitting together on a porch in there as well. Watching that particular scene and keeping in mind what Mariah spoke of in her memoir in regards to her mother, it's actually rather strange to see because you'd never guess they'd ever had the relationship Mariah revealed in her book.

Never really cared for the show but I'd tried to watch it due to Mariah becoming part of it for a season. Unfortunately, the behavior between her and Nicki was just too much for me so I gave up on it. I was a fan of both women, FARRRRR moreso Mariah's, but the behavior wasn't a good look for either one of them and it really ruined it for me. That being said, Mariah looked better here than she had ever looked in her entire life (not that she'd ever looked bad but omg, she looked INCREDIBLE on Idol) and I feel like she gave the most heartfelt, sincere and useful feedback/criticism than any other judge I'd ever seen on the show, and no, that isn't bias. Lol. I highly doubt Mariah would have gone for it, especially since she doesn't even know her 😉, but it would have definitely made for an interesting season to see Mariah and Jennifer (Lopez) on the same panel instead of Nicki!
