This song reminds me of my auntie Lucy. She passed away of cancer on April 14, 2020. She was only 48 years old. I’ll never understand why this had to happen to her she was such a beautiful soul full of life and love . Even though she lost the battle the second time around with cancer. She will always be a hero in my eyes because she fought very hard and even during her weakest moments she would find strength. I will forever have her in my heart .😔💔😪Rest in peace auntie “Tia Lucy” 👼.We love and miss you everyday !!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 You’ll Forever live in my ❤️ .

No! Jorge Luis Piloto was the one who helped her... but i understand what you mean because originally the song in english was intended for Gloria! Mariah had to make some changes to adapt it to her key! I love them both singers!

I only comprehend enough Spanish to know that the only thing the same are the themes of the things both songs are about. But I guess if you're gonna have a song with the same melody and cadence that rhymes, that's what you gotta do. Seems like it would be a fun challenge for a songwriter.
