Who apart from she can sing such a song ... Nobody .. She goes through all the colors of her vocal range, she is the queen of nuances and notes .. We will say what we want about this artist. by far the best vocalist ..

Mariah was the new powerhouse who not only killed you with her vocal power. She was a writer, producer and arranger who owned and got paid for the back-end of her songs. This was the new benchmark for singers after her.

This has always been my favorite song of hers since I was a little kid when it came out. Music is incredible too.

Can't Let Go from the Emotions album. Words can't even describe the love and respect that I have for Mariah. I agree that this younger generation knows absolutely nothing about her. How sad... for them! Great reaction video.

This is why the only reaction channel I watch is you. You're knowledgable in the subject of singing and you comment on the performances afterwards. All these other people that do reaction videos on singers singing have no clue about anything to do with singing - the registers, support, resonance etc and don't fully appreciate the performance because they don't know anything about it!

Roy Walker They didn't pull it from airplay. They pulled the physical single from stores because the Emotions album was underperforming compared to her debut. They wanted album sales over single sales.

I'd argue that Mariah on this night (this performance + If It's Over on SNL) is the best Mariah we've ever seen. She's never sounded better IMO. I know most think Daydream is her vocal prime, but I've always found her tone then a bit too light, and I much prefer the darker/fuller tone prior to Daydream. This and If It's Over are simply perfection.

I really getting involved in his reaction with this guy!! i must of so far watch about 30 of his videos so far in a row!! this guy appreciates not just good music but GREAT MUSIC!! This guy is so into these songs, the emotions, the ability, the tone, the voice, the control EVERYTHING!!! I loved the last bit at the end where he went into another world when she hit and sang that beautiful whistle note! i was there with you man!! she is a legend and a true legend at that!! god i hate majority of music if you call it today of the justin bieber, selena gomez, miley cyrus, nikki minaj however you spelll the woman name. come on lets hear more of this music which we so much miss!! bring it on back and bring it on home!!

I remember this when it came out and it was my jam and still is. She is amazing! Emotions album is one of my favorites. Rich and layered . Incredible control and her back up singers were amazing too!

The LEGENDARY Mariah still has it. So she has had some ups and downs what Artist hasn't? But MC still keeps coming back. She doesn't give up and never has. After her breakdown she came back strong. When MC first started out I knew from her first hit song this was going to be the one beside the Voice. Those two. And of course Celine Dion with her amazing vocals. These women had their struggles like everybody else. Thank you for your Awesome reviews as usual. I enjoy listening to you bc you seem to be a very knowlegeable young man in what you do. 😍

When she had it, she HAD it. I HATE that she worked herself to the point that killed that off. She should still have quite a bit of this left. It's a shame she doesn't. You know your stuff. Nostril Jacker She still has it. Don't ever underestimate Mariah Carey, cause that's when she's gonna come back and shut you down singing you under the ground. Remember 2005 and 2013? They started teasing her for losing her voice and boom, killer vocal suicide perfect albums came out settimg her at the top again. All she needs is rest and not drinking, then she'll be back, cause she already sings better than 99% of modern artists with her current bad vocal shape, imagine how she would sound taking great care of her instrument!
