I'm so sorry for your loss. My mom just passed away and the pain is like no other. Needed to hear this song as I'm trying to plan services.

My husband died in June 2023 and then my dad died in August 2023. I was walking yesterday and this song came on, and it brought me to uncontrollable tears. My heart broke when I heard it, but it also made me reflect on both my husband and my father for the rest of the day, and I know that one sweet day, I will see them both again. Until then, I feel them shining down on me. That feels good.

my husband died 8/2021 and my mom died 10/09/23, exactly 1 week after my parents' 54 year wedding anniversary. It has been hard as my youngest son is a senior, and misses the talks, outings, wisdom and so much more he shared with his dad, and he shares the same birthday as my mom(01/130)!! I thank God for blessing me with two extraordinary people, who impacted me greatly. I am thankful to have my dad around and the communication that we still have. In all things give thanks( 1 Thessalonians 5:18) is what I pray my attitude to be towards my God!

Try and find peace, I know saying it means nothing, but there will be a ray of light that will help, can't say what that ray of light will be, but I know. I lost two of my children with two years, one to an accidental overdose(2017), and my baby girl(2018), 10 days before Christmas, well she was 15 when she was beaten to death by a so called group of friends...nothing will ever replace them or your friend, just know it doesn't end there or here, what keeps me going is believing in seeing them again, but not yet. I just happened to be reading an article about what happens to your body after you die and one of the comments was about their mom who passed away from cancer. I wanted to verify what day of the week it was my mom passed, found out this was the #1 song that year and now here I am...shedding tears for my mom and how beautiful this song is.

I lost my mom in 2001 and my dad in 2005. And I really never mourned I couldn't because my lil sisters were going thru it, I couldn't let them see me fall apart and the most important part of this story is God has and will always be the rock in my life even though it might seem as if he left me I felt like I hated him because at the lowest part he wasn't there. But you know whats crazy?. We take Jesus and God for granted and when we say God has left us and we feel lost. We are the ones who run looking for him because we he left and whole time it was us. But the craziest thing is no matter how childish we act he is always right there and he never ever once throws up on our face. You were the 1 who left. And I'm just supposed to except all the crap you said and just let you back in my arms. And the funny thing is and this is to every living and deceased individual even you satin does he ever turn his back on us anyone of us. No not even the devil. If God is you all then everybody that reads this please tell our heavenly and earthly alpha and omega you are sorry and if it is his will can you come home and watch him open his arms and say I was waiting for you. I know your hurt but I and only I have your heart in my hands and I love you with my whole life. Come rest , cry and let it go cause I have got you. And if you believe let the entire world the ones who believe and the ones who dont he will tell you im your father and I will never leave or forsake you. I lost an aunt uncle and my in one year and then I lost a Daughter and it's only been 10 months since I lost her And I can tell you that is the hardest and worst thing a parent can go through!!! I became disabled on deployment and finished my deployment broken and I would rather go through what I did all over again, than ever feel the way I did when the detective came to our door to break the news!!
