One of the main reasons why shadow hates humanity so much is because shadow’s creator programed him that way after Maria died. I guess he just developed a personal dislike for humans along the way.

Shadow would witness Sonic and his siblings fight Eggman's father, while he rescues Maria. After Maria dies, he partners up with Sonic unwillingly, bringing him to where he is now.

Note she was in the ark due to a disease or some condition where she needs shadow for a progress of healing her. Odds are she would be gone, though slight chance she would have a diary or something to make shadow realize her actual wish sooner. Otherwise it doesn't change anything except Shadow may have vague memories of wanting to search for her.

@@xavex64 Well, Shadow isn't sealed underground for 50 years by G.U.N. in this instance, maybe, and he remembers Maria. Once he realizes she didn't use the pod, he'll follow G.U.N.'s trap to capture him, then maneuver it in his favor, rescuing Maria.

Actually yes, maybe they use that way, Is a Movie for kids too so...this can be a better idea to use for shadow's history.

This should be a whole entire Series! This is really great. Keep up the shadow work, it’s miles year, but shadow year would be awesome, keep up with the good work!

My timeline of events that I made up: Shortly after this,Maria was exonerated,because her testimony of the corrupt agents was damning. Every G.U.N agent involved in that raid was arrested for incident,with the one who tried to kill her being in the MOST trouble. Maria then lived a happy life,while still remembering Shadow.

While the story is unchanged , with Shadow's brainwashing on top of 50 years frozen. It is nice to see people finely accepting that official canon isn't good enough. They never age , and most of them are teenagers. I wouldn't wish an eternal puberty on my worst enemy , even without high school.

I just think Shadow is so misunderstood. He was created by Gerald Robotnik on The Ark. Maria is his sister that he dearly loves, then those guys come to try and kill Shadow, and Maria sacrifices herself to save her brother. Shadow and Maria’s only with was to go to Earth together, but only Shadow is able to make it. Now Shadow has to start a whole new life on Earth with people going after him and the heavy guilt of thinking that Maria’s death is his fault(I know it’s not). It’s so tragic for Shadow, and everyone expects him to be just like Sonic, or better.

Honestly, Gerald was doing too much stuff. Emerl, Bio-Lizard, Shadow, deals with aliens, and tons of other experiments...

Leaving us like this without a part two is unforgivable!!
