And ironically I think she likes him more and has more to offer than Daisy, nothing against Daisy, but I think she can be more “dangerous” emotionally than Maria, she just presents herself differently and has a different outfit and says “like” a lot haha.

I think Maria loved Joey the most out of the 4 girls, it’s a pity she was dragged into drama by other girls and it’s a shame that she was too afraid to be fully vulnerable with Joey.

I dont agree with the idea from Joey that she was guarded and not putting herself out there enough for him ! The interest she did demostrate was appropriate to the circumstances. Didn't it occur to him that maybe the onus for doing so should have been on HIM rather than the woman?

good point she did put herself out there and fought to be there (through no fault of her own) and daisy only told joey she was falling in love with him at the end of their hometown date, i think for maria she needed a little bit more time (and i think daisy had more time with joey she had 2 one on one dates yet joey expected maria and daisy and kelsey to be comfortable to express those type of feelings at the same daisy and kelsey did when they/ spent less time together)

She said she’s laid back in real life vs the flamboyant ‘act’. I think they’d make good ‘buddies’ vs wife material. I was thinking the ‘window thing’ was a clever, funny thing thought up by the producers. 😆

I think Maria struggled to bring herself to be vulnerable and say..."I love you!" Instead she said..."I appreciate you!" I think that may have been when things in Joey's heart and mind shifted from contemplating the idea of choosing her to deciding to let her go. He needed to see that she can get to a place where she is able to let down her walls.

Maria's family is so welcoming.

brittany is such a great friend to maria and her advice was spot on. too bad it was a little too late when maria decided to follow it.

Joey looks stressed in this family or is it just me.

I loved Maria's family So cute when Joey and Maria were watching the old home movies while the family was watching lovingly thru the windows!! Rom Com Directors take note!!!

Although she seemed to be playing games and a little immature when she said she was going to leave, I do feel her feelings and fears are natural and healthy, and is actually, paradoxically mature to be afraid. Come on, in this show he asked 4 different families the blessing to marry their daughter...she believes when you are in love you don’t feel SO much with other girls, and Joey has a lot of connection with other women. He knows he has a spark with her but he already made up his mind that she is not the type of girl for his fairytale. When in reality “good girls” make mistakes and hurt others as well. Also, the editing in this haha, was it necessary? Maria’s father had a point and said nothing different than Kelsey’s father...

This breaks my heart to watch. I thought they were the dynamic duo. I don't see him have the same chemistry with the others as it seems more superficial with them. From afar this seems like the love that was lost. Maybe I am thinking like a hopeless romantic. I just don't get it.

I think he really liked her in the beginning but his feelings changed later on after he has seen her actions towards him ..other girls look very genuine especially Kelsey in my opinion .

The girl has had a more emotional experience than the other girls. She was bullied and picked on which put her in a more emotional spot and when you are falling in love, it’s not natural for most people to open up and profess your love when you know he’s not yours and there are other girls involved. Girls that are part of a group that put her in an emotional spot. It would be natural for her to struggle with being a bit insecure in an ‘open relationship’. The reason the girl is liked so much by viewers is because as a female, we can identify with her raw emotion and what she could be feeling. Oh….the brothers tossing in a clip as a child she would be a tad embarrassed by is a typical Canadian thing siblings would do. We like to poke fun at our siblings.

I think he will regret his decision.

@@cookiesarelikecream I think he had suspicions about the show..as do I. The guy seems nice enough but its just the show must have manipulations like American Idol. I just watched some episodes and it was entertaining though. And I felt that Maria seemed to be strong in character and real with the most personality. I don't remember that Jen who is going to be on next season. The marriages/engagements don't have longevity from what I've read. I think its 4 out of all the couples still together. That's entertainment!!

They did I heard her relationship with her mom was rocky because her mom had some personal issues growing up, so she wasn’t really in her life. But I think they’re repairing it. It may be a step mom? Or her real mom.
