@@kevcatnip7589 As a fan of both Marvel and DC, Captain America Winter Soldier, Civil War, Infinity War, Iron Man 3 deals with PTSD, Dr. Strange has a meltdown over killing someone. Just because Marvel likes to keep a lighter tone for broader audiences doesn't mean they don't dig into deeper more mature themes. There's a lot hidden under the surface of Marvel films.

At first I wasn’t excited for this version of the birds of prey but now I am excited seeing their chemistry. Although I would have preferred Barbra Gordon batgirl.

To all the ignorant comments, where was this energy when Doctor Strange ended up being an Avenger instead of a Defender? The Birds of Prey team up with lots of people in the comics plus HQ isn't part of the team anyway.

I think this one can really work; I mean, DC/WB learned that should let his directors work, which they didn't do with BvS, Suicide Squad or Justice League and we all saw the results of those films, and it is enough to see how, respecting the work and vision of the director, results in things like: Joker, Wonder Woman or Aquaman.

BUT Margot pitched this movie idea almost 5 years ago, and is heavily involved including executive directing the movie and the soundtrack. The director of Suicide Squad was only given 5 weeks to write the entire movie, hence why there were so many underdeveloped characters and it felt rushed. So I'm hoping for the best. Plus they got the people that did the action scenes in John Wick to work on this, and they look wicked (watch her Jimmy Fallon interviews, there's a clip). And the R rating is also comforting.
