Samantha Booth I’m a man and I saw it. As a film it was mediocre at best with some pretty decent *and some pretty horrendous* action scenes. As a comic book film it’s wasted potential. If they did just a little shred of research on The Birds of Prey and these characters this could’ve been a really badass film.

This is such a good interview. I love how they had genuine fun with each other and how creative this whole movie was allowed to be. The part where Margot Robbie speaks about first day anxiety and how she felt like an impostor is so so sweet and touching, it's good to see such a talent actor open like that.

I love Harley and Margot but this film is not this good. Love the songs, love the fight sences, but these're all. The plot is boring as fuck.

Flop or Not, I'm really happy that they really did had fun with this one and we can easily tell how much fun and great experience they had while they all talked about in this wonderful food table and their conversations. Just love them♥️

One of the dynamics I found interesting next to Renee and Harley is Harley and Black Canary. In a storyline they were actually great friends and Dinah made Harley her son's godmother. Would be nice to lean into that friendship a bit more later on.

Yes it was terifying! I remember sitting in the theatre with my sister thinking holy crap he's scary! My brain couldn't comprehend how someone so nice in other films could be so horrible. He really did an amazing job!

Birds Of Prey is so good i love it so much

I loved Birds of Prey it was so awesome. The only real complaint I have about it is that DC/Warner Brothers have kind of closed the door on a premise that I think would have been super interesting to explore - Cassandra’s comic book backstory - with what they presented in Birds of Prey especially given that there was no reason the young girl had to be Cassandra Cain. But that’s super nit picky and not really an issue or reason to not see the film.

There so cute when they are together 😊😂

The ill will for this film is driven solely by its being female-centric. It is very much in a Quentin Tarentino/Richard Rodriguez style with the same level of stylistic flourishes and quirks-- and it has kick-ass fight scenes. Had one of those filmmakers produced the same product, fanboys would have slobbered all over it. It is deliberately cheesy in the same way Kill Bill is deliberately cheesy, modeled after a certain style of martial arts movie. Birds of Prey is underappreciated much in the same way Josie and the Pussycats was when it came out--another good movie that suffered because people had the perception that being a "girl" movie was negative.

People don't have that perception , if the movie in summary it's not that good of course people talk each other about it . There may be several opinions about is was good or not but box office speaks for itself ( un this case yes ). I wanted to see this movie in the theaters but when i saw the changes of the characters and that it went far enough of source material i decided see it internet and saved my money and it was a good decision ( to me of course) . This movie was ok , not great , kind of lazy and don't deserve a sequel , there are more movies of could be make instead

Birds of prey is a fantastic comic book but the movie being marketed as a feminist piece by the actors themselves was really not clever 'cause the story has no gender conflict undertone, they turned it into something that it was not with a poor delivery
