Margee and Ravis children must be in the miniscule straits of masterful emotion at their most grim time of anguish. My unusual name being mispronounced by some others is inflammatory. One solicitor calling to buy my home called me Wailly, a bad experience I had in the sixth grade, and I scolded him and warned him not to call back. I have such pristine hate for my name being said wrong, especially taunts. I pray Margee and her surviving family will experience God's grace in greatness far surpassing their grief.

Yes, she deserves to be left alone. She clearly loved him and was devoted to him. On the other hand, he didn't love her enough to be faithful to her. She stayed home and kept those home fires burning. He was scampering about the world, rendezvousing with very attactive young women. Instead of taking his wife on trips to exotic places, he took along young, nubile massage therapists. The saddest thing is that he did not admit it it and apologize to her before he died. Of course, he might have; but then she would be lying about not being aware of what he had done. So, I don't think that he did do that.

This was no small thing...and she was sinned against, as well as Holy God offended. It will take years for her to process all of this. There are a few things that are still true: 1. Ravi was a great apologist and helped many around the world grow strong in the faith through his cogent elocution. His arguments, videos, and publications are still valuable for insight and learning. 2. Ravi serves as a warning to all Christian leaders that we can easily fall into illicit relationships and allow our physical desires to rule our lives. This is nothing new (David & Samson for example), but the wages of this sin are still deadly. 3. Teachers are held to a higher standard and will be judged more harshly on judgement day (James 3:1). I pray that Ravi repented before he died. 4. The victims he left behind are in need of prayers and help. 5. Ravi’s family is in need of prayer. Finally, we should pull together and learn from this and use it to strengthen our brotherly bonds instead of causing divisions. It’s tough to see someone you admire make a huge mistake, especially since it apparently wasn’t a one time event. Ravi will have to answer for that, but it’s out of our hands. I still admire King David even though he murdered someone for his wife. I still love Ravi even though he made a mess in his personal life. I’m even more scared that I will do something as foolish as we are all capable of it. The enemy wants us to focus on failure and would love nothing more than to continue this mess by causing others to fall. Hang tight my fellow travelers. We’re on the same side.

I’m like that’s not the only scripture in the Bible. Colossians 3:12-17 New English Translation Exhortation to Unity and Love 12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with a heart of mercy,[a] kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, 13 bearing with one another and forgiving[b] one another, if someone happens to have[c] a complaint against anyone else. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also forgive others.[d] 14 And to all these[e] virtues[f] add[g] love, which is the perfect bond.[h] 15 Let the peace of Christ be in control in your heart (for you were in fact called as one body[i] to this peace), and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ[j] dwell in you richly, teaching and exhorting one another with all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, all with grace[k] in your hearts to God. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. In conclusion learn to called out your brother in love and not in pride. Merci!

Of course you can judge his faults just as he or other Christians can and should judge yours. We're to correct and rebuke each other in love. It's unloving not to point it out. It's unloving to leave someone in their sin, in their alcoholism, in their pornography. In the same breath, we ought to be confessing our sins to those in Christ we trust. It's exactly what Jesus did... He didn't leave the woman caught in adultery to her adultery, he loved her enough to tell her he knew about it AND he invited her to turn in a different direction and follow him. Secondly, we can also hold in tension the fact that he also blessed you. It's ok to hold on to both of those truths. The Bible is full of tensions where two things are true. It's true that we have freedom to choose and at the same time God knows everything that we'll do.

There is nothing wrong with having a great respect for his ministry and how God used it to strengthen the faith of others, however, that doesn't mean we should ignore truth and hurt victims even further by labeling them liars for the sake of blind loyalty. Christians are meant to seek after, and value truth and if we think that Ravi is innocent, we must have hard evidence to back that notion up. Not just a hunch. Adam, thanks for producing this spiritual and heartfelt segment. I came back to faith in Christ almost 2 years ago, heavily influenced by many of Ravi's videos online and a couple of his books. He had just died when I came around and then a few months later all of these "revelations" come out about him. Yes, I was disappointed that it seemed evident that Ravi had some sin issues, but I have been totally appalled at the venomous, judgmental critiques, most of whom claim to be Christians, that kick this dead man when he is gone. I'm not trying to defend any wrong actions of Ravi, but there are certainly questions of why so many of these people and women came out against him AFTER he died. IF all of these accusations are true, one also needs to ask if there was not complicity in the sin by many of his accusers. Finally, my main issue is with purported Christian's reactions to this in the public forum of KZread and the internet. The judgers and accusers of this dead man will stand at the same throne of judgment Ravi will. I think it will be very interesting to hear what God says to each and every party. Even if Ravi was guilty of all accusations, it does not change who God is or did through Ravi. Judging by the fruits of his ministry just in my own life, I will not sit among the accusers and judges quietly. I will not let secularists or Christian judges convince me that his books and works are "trash" to be obliterated. If that is the case, I can give you a long list of "famous Christians" who should then be treated equally. Based on the Ravi Ministries atrocious treatment of Margie, I will no longer be looking to them as sources of trusted input as they obviously have just been fighting to survive by trashing their founder. God's grace is sufficient, even for Ravi. Compare his sins with those of many of "God's favorites" in the old testament and then come back and convince me that somehow Ravi was NOT chosen by God or question his salvation. You are in error to judge...and Christians are never to judge their brother, especially in front of the unGodly and heathens that most of the world is made up by. Shame on many of these Christian "judges"...and I pray that repentance of the judges will eventually win out over the venom and negative spirits they have conjured up or gone along with. The church overall has a lot of blood on its hands in handling these kinds of circumstances and sinners. I still say the worst thing about Christianity as a religion is how it kicks their soldiers when they are down or dead...or takes on the role of judgment that God will not share with any other but Himself! Continued prayers for Margie and her family...

I have walked through the heartache of infidelity. My husband was someone I never thought would ever be capable of such a betrayal. This woman was someone he witnessed to at the gym and than claimed she was a friend. She actually came to church and sat with our family in church. I had a strong intuition that their relationship was becoming much more than friendship I addressed it with him and he of course denied it. He would not give up her “friendship”. I sought help from our church. There are so many more details to what happened and what I went through. My husband ultimately decided he needed to leave and within a week he was with this woman. Believe me when I tell you that they were people that actually said I should have made him give up the friendship. I did ask him to stop the friendship with her but he refused. The Lord held me and carried me through this painful experience. And the thing that is most amazing is that the Lord helped me to forgive even in the midst of all of this because of his great love for me. If I did not forgive I would not be able to go forward with my life. I did not want to remain a victim of someone else’s infidelity for the rest of my life. Please understand that his wife is not the one that should be criticized or hurt even more especially from her own brothers and sisters in Christ. They should be holding her up and supporting her through all of this. I cannot imagine her grief losing her husband and finding all of this out after his death. A secret life. And if she had any inkling that there might’ve been something going on can you imagine that pain. I have been there I know what it does to you it eats away at you even though the person that is involved in the infidelity continues to make you feel like you are just not trusting them. I pray that those around her and those brothers and sisters she has known for years would help her and in time of need him to forgive to move on. The one thing is to remember God always uses our pain for his glory that we can help others that go through the same experience.

This is heartbreaking! No matter what Ravi did you have a wife of 48 years that has lost a husband, regardless of what kind of person he was, what he did, she has lost the husband that SHE has known and loved, not what the public now knows and sees! How can she be expected to turn on all of the love and memories that she has known for an idea and events that was brought forward after his death!?!? The memories and thoughts of him are already painful in his absence and now she is expected to replace all of that with this new revelation that her husband isn't here to answer for!?! This man, regardless of what he has done out of her sight, is the man she has done life with for a big chunk of her life, they made decisions together, they solved problems together and now she is alone! She also has her children to think of, publicly denouncing her children's father!?!? No mother would want to do that!!!! She is stuck with her truth and now the other truth brought forth by an investigation of people that aren't close to her and now the public. Of course she is going to stand beside the man she did life with, brought children in the world with, prayed with, knelt with, how can you expect her to do anything different!?! To change everything she has ever known after he is no longer here???? I just can't even imagine what she is going through! For them to now take her house from her!?! The home with all their memories!? She is a victim in all of this, why is she being treated like she is guilty in anything other than being a devoted wife of 48 years and mother!?!?!

He had women he abused PRAY with him, thanking God for the opportunity to share sex with him. Then he warned them not to tell, because if people thought he was evil, thousands of people would turn away from God. That is pure evil. This is beyond normal. I'm not sure how after RZIM's reports concluded that these things have happened that people continue to hold RZ in such high regard, to victim shame after many victims, unknown to eachother, have come forward with similar accounts and proof has been presented, and proof that stand up to biblical standards, is truly baffling to me. This is a huge part of what is wrong with the church. You will protect a predator by calling victims liars and continue to put RZ on a pedestal? The bible clearly states that those who teach will be judged with greater strictness than those who do not. So we do not get to dismiss what has happened as oh he's just another sinner. This was not a stupid man. He knew what he was doing was wrong, and he chose to do it anyway in arrogance and defiance to the scriptures and God. Now there is a wake of victims, those who were sexually victimized, those who were lied to for decades, those who trusted him, those in his ministry teams, even the church. But let's continue to stick our heads in the sand and pretend this didn't happen, and blame those victims for one mans depravity. Let's keep glorifying a fallen and broken man, and not Jesus himself who demands truth, who IS TRUTH. Y'all need to go back to scripture and pray for God to open your eyes, as you are not seeing truth, you're actually actively denying truth and that is not a biblical response to what has happened here.

Adam I just found your video. First of all I want to say I liked Ravi Zacharias I've been saved 44 years and about 25 of them I've listened too Ravi also. Just want to say as a sister in the Lord I feel you have done a wonderful job of sharing your heart of bringing out things many of us in the beginning of this probably didn't even think of, you nailed it son you did a wonderful job that's all I want to tell you God bless.

Thank you Brenda! I truly appreciate that and I’m sure that we both felt the exact same about the entire situation. Having walked through a situation like this before locally, my hope was simply to help with some perspective. That was also the intent of all of the videos on Ravi that I’ve done. Glad it resonated and thank you for the encouragement!

As a woman who went through something similar in a very public way, I feel great tenderness for her and all she has endured since losing her husband. It is very hard unfortunately, for some, to understand that you hate the sin but still love the sinner. I loved listening to Ravi and miss his wisdom, but am also saddened and confused by the things said of him now. But Margie is a victim and should be treated with compassion and Christ like love.

@@wmr4463 Margie was very rich for a long time. She had ample time to get assets in her own name and a permanent home. She chose to game the tax system by faking poverty by having no assets of her own and everything owned by the ministry. I guess I can't find a way to feel sorry for a woman who made ungodly choices and most likely knew about her husband's sexual deviance. I can pray for her, I can support her emotionally, I can give her the benefit of the doubt, but I can't feel sorry for her. The loss of her home is her own fault.

Right... most so called Christians have not only no true faith but they have no heart. They don't have any heart toward anyone or anything that does not benefit themselves. This my friend, is Christianity in the 21st century...has nothing to do with Christ.

I am grateful to him for the lessons i learned and I will not forget them nor would i forget Ravi. His deeds, he will answer to GOD but his words will remain in my heart. I do not feel anger, i only feel sorrow and my family and I will always pray for him. GOD bless his family, too.

Thank you for posting this compassionate video, I have thought about Margie and the family many times, I became a dedicated Christian three years ago and then lost my oldest son shortly after. Ravis books and video s honestly saved my like and got me through the first couple of horrible years I thought about suicide often it’s still extremely difficult, and I’m not at condoning what happened it breaks my heart because I had so much respect and trusted him as a new Christian immensely, but as humans we are imperfect, we are sinners ever one of us, and again I so so wish it hadn’t turned out the way it had but we need to practice love and compassion and the sins he committed shouldn’t just erase all the good he did in his life too, we all are capable of doing both and my heart goes out to Margie and the family I am praying for all of you, and please know so many people respect and care about you and even in light of the situation your husband’s ministry helped me so much probably saved my life and for that I will always be grateful
