Thanks! Yes, I think it was a little under capacity that week.

That brought back a few memories of the 80s went to Yugoslavia before the war stayed near Koper for a week then a week in the mountains near lake Bled, did a 10 day 10 cabin small ship holiday in 86 round lots of the Adriatic Islands Beautiful place, looks like a nice ship, not big.

Just come of this cruise in September . Did this cruise along with Iconic Islands and the whole two weeks were brilliant. Dara in the Lattitude Restaurant is an asset to Marella Cruises. So friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed the Trieste stop where we did our own thing. 15 minutes away from the ship and the train station with trains running hourly to centre of Venice. 30 Euros per person return

loved Slovenia ... Koper is a hidden jewel if you know where to go, Piran is an awfully nice spot, Lake Bled is beautiful but the real gem is Ljuljana as it is gorgeous.

Loverly mix of music for this vlog, got quite emotional with the sunset departure, so I grabbed a beer from the fridge and gave myself a talking to!! Marks out of 10 for the budget Margarita? Wife and I still not sure about a Marella cruise🤔 cheers guys👍🍺

Margarita was pretty average tbh. Maybe 6/10. We weren't sure about Marella before trying it, but we love them now. Great ships for our style of cruising, as we love the travel aspect of cruising. For anyone for whom the ship is more important than the itinerary and travel, then Iona would probably be better.

It is amazing...my ambition to work in a cruiship

We also went on a 4 x 4 safari but in Montenegro. We went up into the mountains where we stopped for a drink and views. We hen went off road through the forest in our convoy of 5 vehicles and stopped at a big Swiss style hotel. It really was just like Switzerland. The views throughout the trip were outstanding and we really enjoyed our trip. One thing we noticed whilst going up into the mountains was the large numbers of cyclists, really can’t understand why!

In the brochure it says wi-if is payable (per day) to your cabin … is it a good connection and do you know the actual cost plz. Again excellent insight especially for new cruiser’s like us … keep them coming thanks 👍🥂

Glad you enjoyed the video! We paid for 7 days WiFi access and the connection was great all week. There is a mb limit though, so you can't be on it 24/7 and expect it to last the week. Can't remember how much it was. Have a great time, it's a great ship and itinerary 👍

Loving the videos, we are booked on Explorer in November, we have upgraded to executive suite, so we get a few extras included, just wondering if you know what the wifi costs onboard and also, does your mobile internet (4g) still work when at sea? we are going on the Island explorer (Tenerife to Funchal, La Palma, Lanzarote, Gran Can) , do you think there will be signal to use our allowance from UK? all islands use Spanish or Portugese telecoms, which are in the data roaming inclusion for 02, we can't find prices for wifi and Marella are very twitchy when asked about it, it seems to be a secret they are ashamed of.

I love your videos. My friend and I are heading on this cruise liner for 2 weeks from 25th May. Really helpful watching your blog. If you do Amy more blogs, my daughter has a new single out( she’s a singer songwriter ) called The Sea. Her name is Francesca Louise ❤

We are looking to book a Marella Adriatic cruise for next summer and have enjoyed your vlogs. This excursion looks great but on the Tui website it classes this one (Slovenia off road) under suitability as large amount of physical activity? You guys looked pretty relaxed, does that description seem right?

Good to hear you enjoyed the videos, you'll have a great time! Our excursion wasn't particularly physical, although the vehicles are a bit of a squeeze, which would definitely be an issue for some. Otherwise it wasn't physical at all.

@@andyandkirstie thanks for your reply! Not sure why they class that excursion in that way? We are a lot older than you and not as fit so an excursion where we wouldn't struggle would be good. Thanks for the heads up on the limited space in the 4x4 though. Split looks gorgeous; which other ports would you recommend, as there are a few available combinations (Trieste, Ravenna, Zadar, Ancona etc) and never having visited that part of the world and as first time cruisers it's hard to decide which to visit?

Yes, we did have a formal night, although it's not very formal. A lot of people were smart casual.

No, we kinda booked it last minute on one of the interactive screens on board. Forget exactly what the tour we did was called.

It was an official ship excursion and the stop was part of it, although we didn't know that's what we'd be doing. We had to pay for the wine ourselves if we wanted to try it.

It was a actually an official Marella excursion. I'd be surprised if something similar wasn't offered by P&O. Good to hear you enjoyed the video. Have a great time on Azura!

Do you get packed lunches for excursions?

No. If food or refreshments are included during an excursion they will specify that, but generally you're left to sort your own.
