Join us as we explore Penang independently showing you what you can see and do in port. Stay with us as we give you some hints and tips for exploring Penang. Learn from our experiences to make your day in Georgetown as enjoyable as possible.
We visit the wonderful street art, look around China town and Little India, take a walk on the fabulous Chew Jetty and show you some of the wonderful architecture in Georgetown. As always we include the price of drinks, food, excursions and admission costs to make it easier for you to budget when visiting.

This video brought back memories for me. My last trip to Malaysia was in 2007. I live in Perth so the heat was not much of a problem but, like you, I found the crowds a bit much. I only recently found your channel so I'm gradually getting through your videos.

Another great vlog. Sadly our planned far east cruise scheduled for March 2925 has been cancelled due to situation with reds sea and the Houthi’s. This was because they were not able to transfer the ship to Singapore. Marbella are planning to restart the cruises in 2026 - let’s see what happens. We have temporarily switched to Ottoman odyssey on Discovery 2 in July.😊😊😊 I love Penang and have visited it several times- first time was in 1966 as a gpfive year old with my parents wh3n my father was posted in Singapore in the British army.

@TravellingLightLisa Hi guys, We fly to Vancouver in September and cruise down to San Francisco and LA so looking forward to that. We also plan to see a little of Ireland this summer.
It was Cambodia where we got hassled , we used the tactic of following someone who was on the same boat as us, and headed towards one of the hotels, we could see the locals standing outside with their tours . some of the locals were even trying to climb into the buses try to flog their tours on port side , we did stop long in Cambodia, I think we just stopped in the wrong port we did Penang when we cruised with Marella back in 2020 and took a tour.
