Lots of Lions fans are not convinced that this guy is the answer for our edge rusher. Personally, if he can stay healthy the fact that coaches Dan Campbell and Aaron Glenn know this guy and they wanted him as the answer makes me feel confident. Time will tell. If he does step up and becomes the fourth piece with McNeill, Hutchinson and DJ this really takes some pressure off the DB's.

Good signing. He is talented and was apart of the Saints when they had a great dline. Availability is going to be the only question though. But it’s a good gamble imo.
BH likes these kind of players, guys who MIGHT pop off, if not, not a huge investment. The team will be solid when you have handfuls of these kind of guys heating up in waves.

If this dude plays 14+ games he’ll have 10+ sacks

They definitely have been chasing ambulances lately. Low risk, high reward on occasional gambles. But the risk does grow exponentially the more of those gambles you make at one time. Obviously, not all of these guys have been able to come back to top form. But several have, hopefully this year's crop do too.
