He’s looking like a new man. Good for him for sticking with it, it’s the hardest thing you’ll ever do. Thank you DDP for always looking out for your peers. That’s a real man.

@Danny H Not everyone does well opening up to the world and staring down the lense of a camera Yeah it’s entirely possible and even likely that he’ll slip up and find himself back in the cycle of alcohol and pills, but at least give him a chance to succeed before jumping out and calling him a liar If there’s anyone that can spot a dude that’s high AF just by looking at them, it’s DDP; Dallas wouldn’t upload this if he thought Bagwell was pulling a swerve on him How many years/decades was Buff in this spiral before taking his situation seriously… he seems genuinely excited at a legit chance to prove something to himself I’m sure Dallas will post a “setback update video” if Marcus falls off the wagon (just like he did with Jake and Scott) so you can say you called it from the start Navigating addiction of any kind is a miserable experience until you recognize the possibilities again, then you (hopefully) are excited about life again; at least for 10 minutes, let’s take that approach Besides, he kept moving his focus to his right (left side of screen) so I’m 99% certain that someone was there in the room with him for support, which goes a long way to make sense of his moving eyes

Hey buff I hope you see this. My dad is a drug addict. Growing up I had a hard time. My step mom was HR at a company you came to sign autographs for. I wasn’t able to go because it was in another state but you signed an autograph for me. I want you to know it meant a lot to me and helped me get through some of the darkest times of my life. Something so small meant so much to me. I pray that you get through this. You where one of my favorites in WCW. Thank you for taking the time to sign the autograph that day.

Everyone calls him Buff but it’s great to see Marcus Bagwell, the man behind the character, is doing better. Marcus looks much better here than he has in years and he seems more lucid so it looks like he’s clean. The main encouraging sign is Bagwell is admitting he has a problem and he’s seeking the help he needs. It takes a big man with strength of character to admit that and then walk the walk. I hope he overcomes his addiction and can enjoy his life.

Me and my mother picked up Marcus from the airport for a UWC show (Moms boyfriend wrestled there) and hung out with him all day and through out until that night. I was high, mom was high, Marcus was high.. I won't divulge that whole story because it's private. I was 15 at the time. I'm now 32 and I've been to 20 detox centers and 17 rehab centers since. Stayed clean a few weeks here and there and started pills again. Now I take kratom and nothing else. I still take a xanax occasionally. I don't know if I'll ever defeat my demons... But I'm extremely happy mark is doing better and you look great. Now the phrase "Buff is the Stuff" is truly accurate. I'm sure Buff doesn't even remember me or that show... But he was a cool down to earth guy who along with The Rock n Roll express all treated me like gold and spent hours with me that day just telling me stories and giving me advice. I'll never forget those guys. Good guys. And I wish Marcus all the best. From Josh in Wayne County, North Carolina.

Addiction is such a crippling animal. People have no idea till they face it themselves or see it consume someone close to them. It was very troubling hearing the news of Buff's relapse weeks ago so it's amazing to see this video here today. Hope he follows through and stays strong.

I am an addict just celebrating 5 yrs clean. It sounds cliche but I had to hit absolute rock bottom and lose everything and everybody in my life. I spent 25 years an absolute mess so if I can do it so can you everybody who is suffering with addiction.

Thank you. I was a fan when I was younger. Being a struggling alcoholic and addict myself, I know how hard this can be. I had 9 years of sobriety and went back out. Everyday is a battle, and some days I don’t win. But every losing the battle doesn’t mean that the war is over. Again, thank you.
