On one hand he's trying to make something new, on the other hand..most people that do this are not able to play the actual piece with the precision the discipline requires. Music still has rules. If you want the listener to respond. There was quite a few out of tune notes and off time beats. It's all good..but the OG pieces are the highest level of technique.

I think he’s definitely able to play the original pieces. You can see a few videos of him playing way back then of classical stuff
