This wonderful video shows clearly why the art of the Classical Guitar is second to none in artistic elegance. Not only are we treated to extremely fine musical composition but we're also given a compelling visual display of an example fine instrumental skill. Ears and eyes are invited to this feast. Bravo! A really awesome and impressive performance! Mr.Dylla has his name written in the world classical guitar history forever. As Segovia has once said about guitar playing: it is the easiest musical instrument to be badly played , and the most difficult one to be played with perfection! Mr Dylla took the hard and difficult way and gave us a heavenly interpretation! A Great Maestro! He knows with an acute precision what he is doing! He thinks at every note, feels in his heart each one of them. He does it with a perfect sense of cooperation among the notes and the musical phrases!! A cooperation toward uniqueness ! Wonderful! A quite rare event! . Every little detail is intentionaly conceived and played . God bless you Mr Dylla! Hope you come to Brazil so we can see you and enjoy your talent. Excellent, but the quality of recording isn't up to the artists ability. The good sound studio recording would reflect this great performance. The camera angle showing the end of grand piano all the time, creates a clastrophobic effect. It should be further back showing entire artist against the paintings on the wall, or the wall itself. No planing involved.
@Gguy0615 жыл бұрын
Are you kidding me? Someone bought a baby to this performance? Faux pas! I'm not looking for an excuse to say negative things about young children or their parents, but there is no definitive scientific proof that exposing your baby/toddler to classical music will have any cognitive benefits. Bring the kids when they're old enough to appreciate that they're hearing music, like age 4 or above, because if they're there any younger than that, it is to no one's benefit. Show some respect for the audience and performer.

Actually I don’t care for this performance, particularly the sloppy timing. Trying to do too much, when playing (mostly) in strict time is more elegant for this period. Plus in every version he has online, he adds an extra beat of G7 4 measures before the return to the theme in the development section of the first movement. Very odd. It’s like he doesn’t know where he is in the measure. And he does NOT follow the dynamic markings in the score. Listen to David Russell’s version for what I mean.

Ban Babies from Concert Rooms!Smh!
Great performance. Too bad there is some nasty child spoiling the play by screaming!
Guess it's more an arrangement than the original Op.15 :-)

I noticed at least the 3 rd movement. It’s fine and masterful but an extra 5 minutes at least of bits and lives throughout the piece to my ear. Incorporated into the 3 rd movement. Elliott Fisk used to as to Bach so not unusual. Just wonder if anyone else has a different arrangement?
I like the cut of his jib
He looks hungover as heck LOL
is there a cat, miayww

MrGuitarcat Who brings a baby to an intimate concert room.SMH!
Ad breaks into the middle of the music, disturbing indeed!
Tough crowd.
Why isn't he playing HINDEMITH by now!?! Lol (stop 🛑 being a slacker Marcin)
This is Marcyn Dilla's op15(not Mauro Giuliani)!

Actually, it does have an effect (just check this out! kzread.info/dash/bejne/emGssY-KfbO1iMo.html ), although I must agree that bringing a baby to a performance is weird to say the least

Maybe they couldn't arrange childcare and thought that everybody in the room could endure a few baby noises without whining out like sanctimonious cunts? Maybe.
Playing a clone of my Wolverton SP/MP. Nice

Listen to David Russell’s version for what I mean.

like saying the Himalayas have too much rock. jeez.
The fastest and thus most boring Finale I ever heard. What a pity.
