Man. She has such an upbeat personality considering all she’s been through. I am glad life seems to have worked out for her. It doesn’t seem to haunt her like it does for Chris Darden.

Her book about her life and the trial was very good. I’m about to read the first of her fiction novels.
Dear God, I will never forget that day. You couldn't turn on a TV, a radio or walk into a business that it wasn't being broadcasted or talked about. The infamous bronco chase was just so crazy . I like Kato I think he is a good guy and he always had been .
Chris Darden is a good soul. You could see how much integrity he had. The defense was awful. All the dirty tricks.

Id say Robert Kardashian was the only dude that had a conscience on the defense. His interview afterwards just showed that he had trouble with what happened. Its still ridiculous how they didnt bring in OJ's son in for questioning.

she mentions something i notcied and nobody talks about it how EVIL the judge was and how he handed the case to the defense allowing to present any crazy false evidence which in normal court would not have been allowed and shows how joke the american law system is
Sarah Paulson is so brilliant as Ms. Clarke that at times I wasn’t sure whether I was watching clips from the series or genuine archival footage!

The saddest thing about this story is that two innocent people were slaughtered and the person who did it was set free. He beat mans justice but he will not see Heaven. He feels no remorse for what he did. Pure evil.

I'm not cool with the heaven mumbo jumbo but the silver lining to this whole situation is that he did end up serving a little bit less than 20years in prison for other crimes and also his entire reputation was absolutely destroyed so in a very small way a certain amount of justice was served..

I've had leather gloves that have become wet in rain, they shrunk after drying out and were hard to get on again. OJ had been an actor before, he played the poor innocent part very well.

Had these so families had hired their attorneys they would've had good shot at a victory...I starting to think that OJ may have committed the murders! Nonetheless, it ain't what you know, but it's what you can prove...who uttered those famous words in a famous movie? Hint: training day.

Because of Marcia. The lead detective said a few days ago that marcia refused to show dozens and dozens of pieces of evidence cuz the trial was about LAPD & a political agenda and not about justice. Marcia should fear karma. And the jury too

Judge Lance Ito ran a circus of a court room. He should have been employed by Ringling Bros. !!! IMO it was his fault that the jury had the opportunity to claim that they could have any reason for having doubt, not about the actual guilt of OJ rather the efficacy of the investigation and case against him and how it was conducted in such an inept manner !!!

Technically, he had to recuse himself since his wife, a police captain, once worked as a supervisor to Mark Furhman, which creates a conflict of interest.

Kato was mostly put in a small room most of the time, and I don’t think he was prepped well. Unlike most “expert” witnesses who are used to being on the stand, Kato, a regular dude, just couldn’t handle the pressure like most of us would.

Kato wasn’t very bright tbh. The guy struggled with simple comprehension. Trying to get information out of him was excruciating because he just didn’t understand questions!
That verdict was haunting! Unbelievable! Shocking! Again the race card unjustly lets a murderer go free!

Oprah interviewed Clark around 1996, after the trial. Clark said that Kato was "amoral" and "goes where the wind blows". That may have been true then, but Kaelin seems to be pretty cool here. I just watched a recent, lengthy interview of him and he came across as OK to me.
So good to see Ms. Clark is doing well, and Kato, it's probably for the best he did not get the acting gig, Hollywood would have type cast him for a year or so then shed him off.
Marcia won in the end 💪

OJ died a couple days ago and I just watched the mini series. I came away after watching it with the upmost respect and admiration for Marcia Clark. She was a badass.

@@rflaherty9410 Shively sold her story to "Hard Copy" AFTER she promptly (within minutes or a few hours) reported the traffic incident to the police - naming OJ because she recognized him, and reporting several digits of the license plate of the white Bronco he was driving. Again, she received money from "Hard Copy" AFTER conveying the crucial accurate information.
Comments here are so lovely and positive towards her, meanwhile almost everybody left nasty comments about how bad she is as a prosecutor on the videos of the trial. You can't trust people on social media or youtube, they just go with the flow and follow the trend of the moment.

She was a terrible prosector! This was pre-social media. Her and Darden. She declared her own witness, hostile. Her line of questioning to Kato was HOSTILE. She didn't present a lot of evidence, lied to one of the detectives, didn't want to produce a lady who saw OJ's Bronco leave the crime scene. etc. She also lied to one of the Detectives. Lots of fumbles.
Marcia Clark looks 20 years younger than she did 20 years ago. Whatever she is doing, she's doing it well! Also, Kim Kardashian has said that bag Kato is speaking about was in her family home.

I thought she was cute then. She doesn't now have the dark circles under her eyes she had during the trial and I can give her a break for those. I can't imagine the pressure on her.

After the Rodney King case it was thought by allowing cameras in to court it would be more transparent. And if Joe Public could see and hear what was happening then perhaps the aftermath would not be like it was after king trial.

Also judge thought he was superstar or something instead of focusing on proceedings he was more focus on his image n how people will think about him if he judge accordingly it was just a mess like a nightmare she called.

Without holding the court love, 100 million people would've missed the opportunity to finally witness a high profile court case with some of the best/ most qualified, and Brilliant lawyers in America...I learned how the American CC court system worked in real time! Plus, we would have missed Mark Fuhrman lie so many times..plus, with court being live, we learned how the LAPD would treat certain good citizens.

I respect her a lot and she did the best she could, but she was out of her league against F. Lee Bailey, Johnnie C, and Dersh...shame
When she admitted that her team knew the possibility of non-guilty verdict since the beginning, shows that she may have been the wrong choice for the state. Don’t get me wrong I think she’s great and love listening to her talk but...no one was going to beat that Dream Team...and she knew it.

I think a big problem with these "dream teams" isn't necessarily that they're good at their jobs, but that they have too much power and sway in their field. We saw this with the Jeffrey Epstein case as well. It's not that his team had a strong argument for Epstein's innocence, it's that they were able to pressure the US government into backing down because of their clout. It's like how Marcia says here that she had valid arguments to preclude certain lines of inquiry or evidence from the defense, but they pressured the judge into ignoring the merit of her arguments

Overwhelming amount of evidence. There was no doubt. Celebrity and race won his equital from the beginning. Period. Full stop.
I wish marcia clark would have displayed her personality and her true self in the trial as she is seen here.
A friend of mine dated Nicole Brown Simpson. Lucky he didn't run into OJ when he was killing her.

Celebrity and money...The verdict wouldn't have been any different if there had been video of him butchering those people. I don't have to identify "him", we all know who he is.

It's interesting who hated who & who liked who. Like the brown sisters hated marcia but the goldmans adored her. I remember this trial took over everyone I was in 9th grade just started when the verdict was read & I even was like why are so many people outside in lawn chairs did they not have jobs? I saw it bc I luckily had a free period & my school put a tv in the cafeteria. I did not experience racism in my life I'm white but I never watched or saw whites being racist towards blacks that was the first & only time at my all girls school that I experienced racism. Ito was seduced by celebrity no question. He was a buffoon. A judge is allowed to keep out whatever he wants. Thats why cameras should have been kept out bc ito obviously read the papers & cared more about the outside than the case inside. Too bad bc for hos 15 min people mostly find he was a clown & he had a good reputation b4 the trial but he got off on the dancing itos on leno & had celebs in his chambers.

Her, Darden and their team(and The Goldmans and The Browns) were ROBBED of justice.
It's nice to see her here now. Can view her in a different light. During the trial I thought she was so unlikable .

I still don’t like her due to the trial. Her constant lies ruined that case. If she didn’t attempt to lie about testimonies things would have been more cut and dried!
