Great video again, -as usual ! Owned a Laverda SF 750 in the '70 S and this bike is still what I want to have and ride again. Thanks for showing us this nice Italian collection. Nostalgic moments ! What a wonderful display of superb motorbikes. The Laverda that Dave rode reminded me of the nicest Laverda that I've ever seen. It was at the Stafford show probably 20 years ago. The International Laverda Owners Club had a stand there and one of their members was displaying an early drum braked triple. It was in the same colour as the one that Dave rode and it was just perfect. The huge drum brake gave it so much more Italian 'elegance' than the later disc brake. Great stuff lads, I really enjoyed that. 👍

Marvellous stuff gentlemen and what a superb collection/turnout. I had a 1980 Laverda 180 Jota, the version with the round-end fairing. It used to drop the fuel into the engine and then run all over the garage floor if you left the tap on but apart from that, was lovely.

What a treat that was! I rode a mate’s Darmah back in the day and that memory has stayed with me. It’s left me yearning for one ever since (always out of reach) Jota’s take some beating for style, but don’t they all! Must try to get along to that meet up next year. Mike, I hear you on the kidney stone comment. Man, aren’t they just delightful. Must drink more water!! Great vid once again 👍

Cheers Rob, yeah that kidney stone poleaxed me and I was in hospital the week before that event. Thats why I look like 5lbs of shite in a 2lb bag in the video

Great memories of a wonderful day. It really is a special event - what's not to like, rare and beautiful bikes, wonderful South Shropshire countryside, interesting and friendly people. The pub venue is great and very accommodating with tasty and modestly priced food and drink and a lovely campsite. They even manage to arrange perfect weather every year!🙂

Always liked the Gilera Saturno. For many years, maybe even still, it held the lap record at the Nurburgring in the hands of a well known instructor! 👍

What a wonderful day, I had to leave early, so thank you for showing me some of the bikes I missed. This truly is the best event of the year, and the weather was amazing. Thanks to Steve and James for organising it. See you all next year.

Beautiful bikes and since I am of the same vintage I can relate to these bikes. I actually had a Benelli SEI with the 6 into 6 on my wall just because of those glorious pipes. I didn't see one in this video but still plenty of nice old bikes.

I saw a Benelli SEI, red, six into six just two days at Scarborough's Oliver's Mount race circuit. The bike had clearly been immaculate but the heavens opened and made the whole parking field into a mud bath. I saw the Benelli leaving and it was covered in mud. I would have cried if that was mine.

You missed the 254 benelli. They made some epic bikes. Enjoyable video again 👍

A lot of eye candy, brilliant!

My faves: The Gilera Nuovo Saturmo. The orange RGS. The Darmah SS ( yes there’s a theme here) and for sympathy points the belt driven Darmah. Favorite detail: I’ve always found those fully adjustable bars on that Jota, with their finely toothed fixation solution, a piece of art in themselves.

An absolute "feel good video"! What a stunning gathering of bikes I had almost forgotten! And the framing, absolutey beautiful! Well done guys! 👍😃👍

I've owned a few Laverdas including an 81 Jota but if I could have one more bike it would be an 3c. That ones early. Pre oil cooler. My favourite motorcycle of all time.
