I’m obsessed with A Fate Inked in Blood. I usually not a fan of Norse mythology but this changed my mind. It was incredible! I guessed part of the ending but I didn’t mind since I loved it so much. This was my first book from this author and I can’t wait to see what she does next.

I read a lot of omegaverse. I do love Bride, but there is nothing omegaverse about it at all. It’s standard fantasy/pnr werewolf anatomy with knots, and fated mates. It is a good shifter training wheels book for someone just reading them for the first time though, and I just love Misery so much as an fmc.

Bride was my first Ali Hazlewood book and tbh I thought it was quite slow (especially the first half). It was ok but nothing out of the ordinary and I won’t rush to pick up another if hers. I really hope you soon make a complete recovery from your illness and get back to full health 💛💐

Definitely read the whole Pam Godwin series. Just finished it last month and it was awesome!

Bride reads like a young Fantasy read for a beginner to me. Not the worst read but not one I recommend to readers that are not new to romantasy. It read like a weak Twilight to me, unfortunately 😢

I felt the same way about A Fate Inked in Blood. I'm obsessed with Vikings so I knew I'd like it but you're right it does get a bit slow in the middle I will definitely check out that fantasy series. It's funny because my friend sent it to me earlier and then I watched this and told her yep we need to read it lol

Bride isn't Omegaverse. Omegaverse is only a pack of people (who don't shift) only with wolf characteristic like heats etc. And also for it to be an Omegaverse there needs to be an Omega!
