March Walleye fishing below Scott Street Dam (Des Moines Iowa)

If you're looking for a TOP SECRET Spring Walleye spot that produces Walleyes time and time again, you are in the wrong place! Now take out "top secret." BOOM! Welcome to Scott Street Bridge! This place is the furthest thing away from a secret that you can get! I'd bet every person in Central Iowa that owns a fishing pole has heard of fishing at Scott Street. As a matter of fact, most people I talk to refuse to go there because there are so many people that fish here. BUT if you are willing to fish the crowds, or have the guts to stray away and look for your own fish you can be rewarded BIG TIME!
In this video I get out on a cloudy March afternoon to chase after my favorite fish. I hope you enjoy and thanks for the support!

Kudos for not being old-school, top-secret, cliche ;) Shore-fished walleyes are always impressive and make me jealous. Glad you didn't crush your face.

It’s a pretty good “go to” spot! You can usually figure out if they are biting or not, or if you’re just doing something wrong based on what others are getting around you! Thanks for subscribing!

Afraid to cast to faster current for walleye? You must be a rookie who just learned how to hold and reel a spinning reel the correct way.
