I love your March cover! Those soft pastels are always a winner. For March I was thinking of doing spring florals, the same as my main journal, but in the end I decided to go with a coffee shop theme instead, inspired by Mochibujo's February spreads. I'm treating myself to a lovely romanticised reading journal session this evening to get it all set up, as my partner is away. My fave Feb book was The Count of Monte Cristo, I read it for a bookclub all through January and February (the audiobook was 54 hours long!) and absolutely loved it. In contrast my next favourite was To Be Taught, If Fortunate by Becky Chambers, which was about 10% of the length of Monte Cristo 😅 But her books are always so lovely and feel good.

I feel like I'm going to be throwing out a lot in this comment - I got very excited when I saw the pen, and even more excited when I was right, but didn't know there was such a colour! Is it more Periwinkle in person? I know it says Lake Blue, but not sure what colour that may actually mean. I purchased the Harry Potter set last year for my family's Christmas gifts and I love my Slytherin pen. For something so inexpensive, it works better than some of my more expensive pens! * Random bit, but I really liked how you transitioned the Skill-Share part, it was your own experience in a very smooth and fluid way instead of it feeling like a randomly pushed ad like I see in most videos. *And then the Ball! So pretty! It looked like so much fun! I haven't read the series, I am way behind as my library system kinda sucks, and when I say kinda.. really bad. One copy of the first ACOTAR book and it was 62 weeks out when I marked it.. T.T I also didn't know there were such things.. actual places one can dress up besides things like Dragon-Con or other sorts of -Cons. ** All in all, I really loved this video! Thank you for all your efforts and fun personality!

I loved your reading journal! The way that you built in the ad for skill share was genius! It just felt like it was part of the video not an ad for your video!! I am a big journaler. The one way that I use to not lose interest is to pretend I am writing to a friend in my own journal. It keeps me going every day to pretend someone is always reading my journal but of course no one is ever reading it. I even tell my journal when I am leaving to go to bed or when I need to go because it is time to go to an appointment. I don’t know…it works for me. Thank you for sharing your reading journal with us today. It is so beautiful! Love your style!!! I always love when you have a new video. Makes my day! p.s. I have that same fountain pen 🖋️ you are using. It is such a good pen for the money!!!❤️

I love your style, Erin! It's pretty and interesting and always inspires me. The florals and the pastel color palette for March are LOVELY. Your version of a book journal is giving me all sorts of ideas for the next iteration of my own book journal. (Also, random note, but isn't it funny how different people's experiences with books can be? I am currently reading The Serpent and The Wings of Night and I HATE it lol). And my favorite book I read in February was definitely The Shining by Stephen King. I was surprised that I loved it so much, since horror isn't really my forte.

Gorgeous set up. My favourite read of February was The Next Everest, a fascinating true tale of the earthquake in Nepal. I had planned a ravens and potion bottles theme for March, but ended up with a copper and floral theme instead after I found a roll of copper metallic washi. I'll do the ravens next month :)

Always enjoy your videos and your ideas. I learn something new with each one. I am actually on my third reading journal for this year. First one was way too small. I did not think I was going to read so many books! Switched to an A5 size but did not like the bleed through of the paper because it made the pretty parts messy on the backs. So now I am in a 7x7 dot grid Archer & Olive. Seems to be a good fit for now. My #1 book for February was Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver. PS: you looked beautiful in your gown. You & yours are a cute couple. Thanks for sharing!

For the calendar & your monthly progress, I make a line per format, so row 1 is physical, row 2 is kindle or e-reader & the last row is for audible. I don’t listen to 2 books at a time or read 2 physical books at the same time. So that way they can span over a week without jumping rows.

I sometimes read short story anthologies and I always count those as one book so I think it makes sense to count a collection of shorter stories or novellas as one book if you read it that way. Love the theme you picked for March, the florals look so pretty

I started a book the other day that has made me laugh out loud several times in the first couple of chapters, very different from how I responded to What You Want Is In The Library. Plus it is very short, so a nice palette cleanser. It is called Max and the Multiverse. I suspect it is the first in a series of books, but I got it for free so I won't complain. Your journal always looks so awesome.

@@ErinSmith Yes, they are! I have not seen that movie, so I cannot say if it does the books justice, and I also cannot say if the English translation is any good, but I do recommend the whole series. I loved the fairy tale vibes! Do keep in mind that the first one was probably written for a middle grade audience, but if that's alright for you, I'm sure you'll enjoy them!

if i remember right i'm pretty sure you can take a picture of the cover of the book you read, and it should bring up the bind up? now i'm wondering if that makes any sense what so ever. but the bind up should be an option too?? for the books you weren't sure if you wanted to set them as one book or the 6 that goodreads has it as.

Hi Erin🤗 I’m just starting to get into junk journaling and I would love to buy a Sprocket. I’ve been trying to find one to buy but I can only find them on Amazon Australia. The problem is (because I’m old & technology hates me😩) I don’t know if all the Sprockets can print out the four little photos or only a particular one, as well as can I use the internet on my phone only with the Sprocket? I’m sorry to be a nuisance but I was hoping you could answer my questions? Thank you for your time🥰 P.S Your journaling is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen and I hope that one day my journal will look even a quarter as good as yours😀

That’s so lovely Beth, thank you! I got my Sprocket secondhand on Facebook Marketplace, I recommend that as a great place to look 😉 to my knowledge they should all have the collage feature, since the app is the same for all the devices. The only difference will be the size of the images it makes. Mine is the 2x3” which I believe is the most common. Let me know how you go!
