If Marcelito had not shown his `Gimmick` as you called it , in the Prayer, he would still be almost invisible on the World stage . I can understand the shock of people hearing his dual voice for the first time, but it is this more than anything else that makes him unique in the World. In a World full of great singers, he brought something entirely unique to the stage.

The Prayer is a duet by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. He was doing both male and female parts and thus, the falsetto and tenor voices. The seamless transition between the two voices is what impressed me the most on his rendition. Very talented. Anyway, nice reaction. Amazing performance.

I love the whole Wishbus concept. What a fantastic idea! I'm with you on the sound quality. They do an amazing job.💕 You are probably right... hearing Dimash has forever changed the way I feel about singers. I guess he raised the bar so high that it takes a lot to impress me now. 😂😂 I can still appreciate all singers and what they have to offer but my standards of what I consider to be great is much higher than it was a year ago. Thankfully, KZread has introduced me to the most incredible singers from all over the world that I would never have heard if I relied on the radio. I cannot even listen to radio garbage anymore. Not all of it is terrible, but the vast majority of what gets airtime is computer generated, soulless noise. Half the time the instuments are synthesized and it just sounds horrible. I think that's why I was so completely blown away the first time I heard Dimash. Not only his voice, but the live orchestra! Actual musicians playing real instuments. LITERALLY music to my ears. Has Marcelito Pomoy performed anything with a live band? I would love to see that if he has. I wonder if they could fit a small band on the Wishbus?😄💕

Haha, it would be interesting if Marcelito is invited to "Singer 2019" LOL. I want to see those audience and competitors reaction shots :D . But, to be honest, once the shock factor wears off, it'll probably a struggle to maintain weekly ranking. That's when we'll see if Marcelito can dig deep for his full vocals potential. As far as today's radio scene, I don't listen to them much too, but for another reason: I rarely have them on when driving LOL. Thanks to smartphone, I usually have what's on KZread :D . Because, I notice the same things that you notice. That's the nature of music I suppose, can't be helped, it always evolves, and the evolution may not always fits everyone. However, if I'm able to play something that I like better while driving, which is what's on YT, I most likely will do so. It's not always music either that I listen from KZread while driving. I'm with you on the live band. "Singer" had spoiled me with their kickass band/orchestra. You spoke of the bar being raised. That's what "Singer" did for band/orchestra, for me :D . It's becoming noticeable even with for shows that incorporate live band/orchestra, I couldn't help to compare them with Singer's band. The sound engineers in "Singer" also produced great audio quality. Thanks for sharing :) .
