It has to be one of my favourite electric scooters with some minor problems. I haven't tested such a great scooter in a while but testing the Mercane was fun and scary.
First of all, this is a dual motor, 500W/wheel scooter with a 48V battery good for around 30 km and a maximum speed (unlocked) of around 35km/h.
It doesn't sound much but it is more quick in reality than on paper. The 4 cm wide wheels make for a good ride but sometimes you kind of feel the small rocks, holes more than you should although it has double suspension.
One thing I did not like was the handlebar situation where foldability was over designed making the handlebar more unstable than a normal handlebar. I would have kept it simple if I was to design it as a powerful scooter like this needs to offer comfort.
For me, being tall the hight of the handlebar wasn't ideal so it was kind of hard to ride it while bending over the handlebar but it was ok.
In the end, it is one of my favourite electric scooter that can be a very nice commuter or a weekend ride.
