Scooter is great but it has terrible brakes from China.

If you need ho keeping it, you may want to lower the angle of the brake levers by quite a bit. It looks like they’re a bit high for you in the video. I see your wrist angling quite far like it’ll add to a lot of fatigue.

I'm thinking about buying one of these, is it as bad as what the elite scooter user on reddit say it is? If I drive it normally (sidewalk, bike trails, etc) and not making jump everywhere or driving over mud and stuff, will I encounter those issues? It seems like everyone is just repeating what they see on the internet and don't have real world experience with it.

It has very strong motors and a great battery, A lot of people that comment on videos don't even own the product, they just watch something and repeat.

@@tdrdronesebikesandscooters8377 The steering is expected with the wide wheels, but I'm not going to attack corners with it, so it's not a big deal. All I'm using it for is riding with my daughter to school and the occasional bike trails on weekends. I was just worried about the reliability. I am looking at the latest CLE model, so hopefully they address some of the complaints I see on reddit. Yes, I know, I can go with something cheaper and that will serve me just fine, but I'm a car guy and I love to do some hard pull once in a while and from what I read, this scooter will give me that.

I am on second one now and upped to the 15AH dual motor on this one. I have to ride up and down a lot of hills and its goes like a champ. Had a couple of other scooters that were supposed to be good at hills and this one absolutely slays them. I do find the brakes need regular adjusting if you use them a lot on hills and I do have to keep in mind that the steering is not as nice and predictable on the wider wheel which also want to slide a bit if you aren’t careful on wet road and corners but for hills, its a dream. I am super careful though because I am 65 yr old woman now. I use it mainly for last mile type commuting so I have to lift in and out of my car boot (trunk). It’s at my limit for lifting these days and I am not sure how long I will be able to lift it like I am. I couldn’t handle the constant flat tyres on the previous scooters I had as there is constant building work where I work and I was always killing tyres with bolts, nail and screw.
