btw, the trick is in not being 100% perfect in pitch (it would sound robotic) - Freddie's notes weren't "perfect" - for certain notes it is performed with extreme gliding in and out of notes or just momentarily touching the centers of pitch - sometimes approaching, taking the direction to notes, implying to it, is more important compared to achieving the center frequencies .- it is used more in jazz music - but there's certain moment when the singer can do that, where it is suitable - it is about building the patterns and expectations in listener's head to create the suspense from approaching notes
This is the saddest most heartbreaking song i've ever heard. It was all the pain and anquish that Freddie and Brian felt when they knew that death was very near. Freddie had a voice like no other in the world, he would be amazed at Marc's talent. I can just imagine him saying that's just lovely darling. Marc you bring back Freddie for us but you have an amazing talent on your own too. The piano is haunting me
Incredible vocal likeness to Freddie Mercury (but this is a gift of mother nature that you can't change). He's great...amazing performance!

Thus song is the hardest one that I've ever heard. Marc you're a real genius. No one could perform it so brilliant 👏
So glad he's playing the keyboard too. With vocals this strong it would be easy to abandon the piano, but then you become just another one of those American/pop idol singers that people like Simon Cowell judge. Playing the piano/keyboard shows you can move outside of pure vocals.

El problema es que no puede estar en Queen y más desde que Roger se molestó por salirse de la banda-tributo Queen Extravaganza y llevarse incluso a miembros de la misma (por ello la molestia de Roger).

@@Leander_ Freddie sang this song shortly before his death, already severely ill. And still his vocals were 100% perfect, even on the highest notes that Marc Martell can‘t hit. You must be joking if you think that this guy is as good as the probably greatest singer of all time. If you want to hear Freddie sing and play the piano at the same time, just listen to Queen‘s live performances.

Да что ж вы так переживаете! Конечно же никто не споет так как Фредди. Зачем же? Вот Марк поет по-другому, по-своему, и с Фредди не соревнуется. И страдать не обязательно. Песня может быть прочитана другими как «нестрадательная». Это же кавер.
