I agree with most of your points here. Couple of things I think you're not considering. Chelsea's new coach is Enzo Maresca, a disciple of Pep. Maresca will obviously be looking for a strike that fits the profile of his style. If he's going for Guiu, it's tactical. Not hype. That being said, you're right, it's a dumb move for Guiu. Chelsea will be going for a big striker this summer, so Guiu will automatically fall down the pecking order. Ultimately, Guiu will stay.

You couldn’t be more wrong. Chelsea are looking for an out-and-out no.9. He wants minutes and Chelsea can offer that while playing higher level football. I’m not saying it’s the right decision but to automatically associate this move to money only is absurd and annoying. This could work out if there’s a buy-back clause and I don’t think Barca would even think about offloading their own Masia player if there wasn’t a buy-back clause involved.

Understandable cuz pau is 3 years older, but its worth noticing that pau victor is an eliminated product from girona, and at 21 years old he is still playing in 3rd division of spain, he is the kind of player only here to add experience to the reserve team, not to be promoted to the first team or any long term solution, just like the case of rey manaj, ferran jutgla before him

It's good that he left, we wouldn't be able to give him sufficient playing time. We already have Fati, Lewandowski, Victor, Lamine and Raphina. And we're almost certain to bring in another attacker, I don't see how he would be able to play with that much competition 🤷🏾‍♂️

Guiu is great and all and the kid has good potential but I feel like all our strikers want game time and when we have lewa, Vitor, and possibly Pau Victor, it’s going to be hard to give them all game time to grow, and guiu just makes it worse.
