I am 23 (since September 2020,) and for all the good and bad in my life thus far i have truly appreciated the generation in which I have thrived. I love that I grew up with movies that gave epic adventure stories with a in the feels romantic blossom in the end. Needless to say, the mask of Zorro is inspiring, enchanting even in so many ways. It has an amazing scope, not to mention a boisterous sweeping orchestral score that gives the whole thing it's soul. Tragedy plays a part indeed with the original Zorro's ultimate fate (spoilers) but is mended by the continuation of his legacy with Elena. Films are made not nearly with enough of what I said earlier, SOUL these days. Money driven motherfuckers.

Marc Anthony is no slouch either when it comes to singing. HE has a mouth & he knows how to use it as does Tina Arena. An unforgettable song. Once this song sticks in your head it's there for a long time. How many songs can say THAT ?

I recall hearing this song over and over while I was working a grocery store internship around summer 2002. I had no idea who it was singing and literally searched for this song for about ten years before I ever found it. All I knew was “it’s a duet, there is a lyric that says, “over and over again”, and that woman’s voice was ridiculous!” I was able to put those things together in 2013 with a strategic google search and I found this amazing song! Now the sorrow movies are both on my favorites list! Marc did his thing, but good lord Tina! Your voice is so impressive!

Ahh, THAT was a great movie. ...Don't mess w/ Zorro. Whoever wrote this song deserves the highest award because of it's meaningful lyrics. I bet this song means a lot to a lot of people in different ways. I know it does to me.

People often have more free time than they used to. In spite of which, they have shorter attention spans and find greater content with less. The same producers cater to this change. Unless something radical happens, the trend of flash over substance will be irreversible.

The 90s was the happiest time of my life watching this movie with mom. The only regret I have is that I wish we could somehow know my mom's disease so we could cure it before we lose her in 20s. the rest of my lifetime does not mean to me anymore....

Fun fact: my parents took me to see this movie when I was was 5 and it's been one of my favorite movies ever since.... I may have also tried to sword fight with my now 22 year old brother (I'm 26 as of this comment) and he still has a scar on his thumbnail (it literally grows different) till this very day... (we used kitchen knives to sword fight when they weren't watching and my mom never took us to a PG-13 movie until we we're 13+)
