Ich schon! (in 2024, lol). Habe das Lied entdeckt, als ich vor 27 Jahren in Deutschland war (bin Franzose). Karel Gott sang es (siehe: "Etwas ist geschehen"). Er hat es auch auf tschechisch gesungen (siehe: "Co jsi jen zač"). Schließlich habe ich mir heute Abend die französische Version von Richard Anthony auch gekauft (siehe: "Quelque chose en moi tient mon cœur") ! Aber diese originale Version von Marc Almond finde ich wunderschön. :)

Well, you didn't search too deeply. This song was quite popular on the radio. And you could have gone to a record store and hummed the tune to the one in the store, or in some music bar. I listened to it and bought the cassette (I didn't have a CD player) thirty years ago

I completely agree with this. My first time hearing this track, was with Gene. I didn't care too much for Gene's voice as it sounded worn, but overall, excellent music arrangement. Listening to THIS, it's Marc, all the way.
