This Marble Bundt Cake - is a Moist Vanilla and Chocolate Marble Cake made in a bundt pan, a delightful way of making the classic marble cake and definitely a family favorite. I have always loved marble cakes, ever since childhood and keep coming back to it with very much pleasure, every now and then. This Marble Bundt Cake consists of moist vanilla and chocolate cake layers swirled in a beautiful pattern that makes it look quite sophisticated and totally irresistible. It makes a perfect treat alongside a cup of coffee or tea.

Makes about 14 servings
1/2 cup (113g) butter, room temperature
1/2 cup (110g) vegetable oil
1 ½ cup (300g) sugar
4 medium eggs
2 tsp (10g) vanilla extract
1 cup (240g) sour cream
3 cups (375g) cake flour
2 ½ tsp (10g) baking powder
1 tsp (5g) salt
For the Chocolate Batter
1/3 cup (40g) cocoa powder
1/3 cup (80g) sour cream
1 tbsp (15ml) milk

yes.. you can use only oil
Hello. Want to know when you grease the Bundt pan, do you need to put a lot of flour n spray oil? Every time I bake with Bundt pan it doesn’t come out. Thank you very much. Penny, Malaysia

Just add few tablespoons if needed..and spread it all over by twisting the pan..the flour will stick to the butter..discard the remaining flour and should work just fine

Self raising flour has already the rising agent included as well..so you will have to reduce the baking powder or not add at all

cake flour is plain flour with less protein content.. you can use all purpose flour too

we just made this Bundt cake, instead of using 2 cups of batter for the chocolate batter I would recommend 1 cup batter to make to give it bit richer chocolatey flavor other than that the Bundt cake turned out lovely Thank you for this recipe

for each cup of all-purpose flour, remove 2 tablespoons of flour and replace with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch.
