Than cannot chant thevaram, siva puranam and om nama sivaya right ??

I have been thinking of this Funeral service within the same day of death,instead of ice box or mortuary storage. In both the cases we are doing Pretha pooja . And mortuary brings mix up of corpses...mere praschitham mantram and compensating Dakshina is nit a solace. Why can't we start a movement of planning our death, as per Dharma , instead of cold storage, pay that to the Brahmib who is willing to cremate on the same day.

Every information for each and every human- beings.Suppose the death persons son lives in abroad,how we can do the karma anushtanta kal?

This is a very sad situation for many parents these days. In such inevitable cases the deceased relatives must immediately carry out the kriya of cremation and wait for son to join the 3rd or 4th day etc. Never keep the body for too long it is against dharma sashtras & also painful for the departed soul. Think of the latter & give preference to it !!

யாரும் எதையும் காட்டி கொள்வதற்காக சொல்லுகிறார்கள் என்று குறிப்பிடுவது தவறு. நிஜமாகவே பகவன் நாமம் சொல்லி அந்த ஆத்மா நற்கதி அடைய நினைத்தும் சொல்லி இருக்கலாம். தவறா சரியா என்பது வேறு விஷயம். சொல்லுபவர்களை தவறான கண்ணோட்டத்தில் பார்ப்பது ஏற்றதல்ல.. சாஸ்திரங்கள் அனைத்தும் நினைத்தாலும் செய்ய முடியாத காலத்தின் கோலத்தை நாம் பார்த்தோம். அதுவும் ஈசன் செயலே.

How long and how many times can one hide behind ignorance of dharma sashtras? It is therefore advisable and also our duty to consult elders or priests with knowledge on dharma sashtras matters or refer to appropriate books before assuming things or blindly following others for whatever be the reasons !!

@padmasbrmanian உபாகமர் இதை வர்ப்புறுத்துவது அனைத்து ஜாதிகளுக்கோ, மதத்திற்க்கோ கிடையாது! அதை நாம் புரிந்து கொள்ளவேண்டும்! சரியா தவறா என்பது வேறு விஷயம் எனும்போதே அங்கு்50 சதவீத தவறு ஒளிந்து உள்ளது! அந்த தவறை புரிவதற்கக்கு வேத அத்யயனத்தை பின்பற்றபவர்கள் அல்லது நம்புபவர்கள் காராணமாக கூடாது என்பதே உபாகர்மாவின் ஆதங்கம்! நமது கர்மாக்கள் என்ன என்பதை பல ஆயிரக்காணக்கான வருடமாய் இருப்பதை தனி ஒருவர் தனக்கு நேரமில்லை, பிடிக்கவில்லை என்ற சுய விருப்பு வெறுப்புகளால் மாற்றியமைக்கப்பட்டால் அதைவிட நாசவேலை வேறுஎதுவும் இல்லை! அத்தகைய வேதத்தை பின்பற்றும் பிராமனர்களுக்கு உய்வு என்பதே கிடையாது! மிகப்பெரிய குரு துரோகம்! இதன் விளைவுகள் நம் சந்ததியை மிக கடுமையாகதாக்கும்! பித்ருக்கள் மிக எளிதாக இரத்த சேதாரத்தை உண்டாக்குபவர்கள்! நம்பினால் விமோசனம்! இதையும் மீறி ஈசன் செயல் என்று உருட்டுவது அவர் அவர் வினைபயன்!

You will find Karna mantrams in two places. One is in Bhagavad Gita & the other one in our vedas & upanishads. I had heard both versions in one of the discourse by Swami Omkarananda, Theni mutt !!

இத்தனை நாட்களாக எனக்கு இருந்த சில சந்தேகங்கள் தீர்ந்தது. பிரும்மஸ்ரீ உ.வே.சேஷாத்திரி ஸ்வாமிகள் மேலும் சில தகவல்களை தந்து மக்களின் சந்தேகங்களை நிவர்த்தி செய்ய வேண்டும். பீஷ்மர் தன்னுடைய ஆன்மா சரீரத்தை விட்டு தான் நினைக்கும் போது மட்டும் பிரியும் வரை பெற்றவர். அவர் அம்பும் படுக்கையில் உத்தராயண காலத்திற்கான காத்திருந்த போது வியாசபகவான் தர்மபுத்திரருக்கு ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணனை போற்றி ஸ்ரீ விஷ்ணு சஹஸ்ரநாமம் உபதேசம் செய்தார்.

Bhisma was alive till uttarayanam & hence recitation of Sahasranamam is justified. However mere mortals like us when we pass the rest of them reciting Sahasranamam is against Dharmasashtram !!

Now a days when the dead body is lying in the house waiting for final rites those visiting for condolence are offered coffee.

கர்ணமந்த்ரம் என்பது சிதைக்கு அருகில் உடல் எரியூட்டப்படுவதற்கு முன் சொல்லப்படுவதாகும்

இல்லை. உயிர் இருக்கும் போதே காதில் மெல்லிய குரலில் குமாரன் சொல்லவேண்டியது கர்ண மந்த்ரம் என்று பெரியோர்கள் சொல்ல கேட்டிருக்கிறேன். ஜீவன் வெளியேறிய பிறகு, கர்ணமந்த்ரத்தை எப்படி அந்த உடல் ஜீவாத்மாவிடம் கொண்டு சேர்ப்பிக்கும்?

நமஸ்காரங்கள் மாமா. எங்க ஆத்துக்காருடைய தம்பி இறந்து ஆறுமாதம் முடிந்தது. மஹாளயபக்க்ஷத்தில் தம்பிக்கு தற்பணம் செய்யனுமா?. பதில் எதிர் பாற்க்கிறேன்

There are as many varities of opininions as number of gurujis and we get screwed. Let all these scholars discuss among themselves and come out with a dos donts manual clearly. Even a simple brahmayagnam we have different versions from experts. Finally they say unga vadhyar padi or unga aathu vazhakampadi..

நீங்கள் ஶ்ரீரங்கம் தானே ! 1992 இல் என் ஜாதகத்தையும் எனக்காக பார்க்கப்பட்ட பையன் ஜாததமும் பொருத்தம் என்று பொய் சொன்னவர். கல்யாணம் ஆகி 6 வருடத்தில் அவர் நோய் வாய்ப்பட்ட போது வேறு ஒரு ஜோசியரிடம் காண்பிக்கும் போது அவர் சொன்னது ரொம்ப ஆச்சரியமாக இருந்தது. இந்த ரெண்டு பேருடைய ஜாதகமும் யார் பொருத்தம் பார்த்தாங்க .ஒரு பொருத்தம் கூட இல்லையே. விரைவில் என் கணவர் இறந்து (1998) இன்று 24 வருடமாக ரெண்டு குழந்தைகளுடன் kashtapadugieaen என் வாழ்வில் நடந்த இந்த சோகத்துக்கு இந்த சேஷாத்ரி தான் காரணம்
