IMHO among the four participant, Maria's interpretation is the one where I can hear the bluegrass style - Congratulations Maria!!!! What a sound! And the guitar pizzicato is a killer! Very impressive

Her transitions were the best of the four shown. Of course, this piece is just Mr. O'Conner improvising during a boring Sunday, which is probably how it came to be, as brilliant as it sounds.

Brilliant performance of an "artist", not just a violinist! So many beatiful nuances, it seemed a different piece to the other the rest of the contestants played! Rather disappointed that she didn't get the special award, she was the most inspiring! I guess the prize had to be for an American! Politics;(
