Mapping Ecosystem Service Value (ESV) using ArcGIS
Hello everyone, welcome to @GIS & RS Solution KZread channel. I hope you are doing well. Today, we are going to learn about how to display the value of ecosystem services on a map. In the previous video on ecosystem service value, we delved into the details of valuating ecosystem services in monetary terms based on land use and land cover data.
In that video, we estimated the ecosystem values of selected land use/land cover types using the monetary value of the Ecosystem Service Value (ESV) coefficient (in USD per hectare per year) for the selected biome. This coefficient was obtained from a researcher named Costanza and et al.
Before proceeding with this video, I recommend you watch the first video on ESV. In that video, you will learn how to calculate ecosystem service values in response to land use and land cover changes. Once you've learned the calculation process, you can then watch this video to understand how to effectively display the valuation results on a map.
I hope this provides clear guidance for performing these tasks.
